When hh becomes a villager, it doesnt change any of his effects, he would also still be killable by mm or show as unequal to villagers to detective. This is to maintain he ability to lie about the target, there is no way to confirm it.
So now this SL update follows the same pattern, he can't sect hh wether he is villager or solo at that point.

hi^^ situation: I'm fool, in love with seer. Last alives are cupid bh and cannibal (seer and me ofc). We know who is cannibal. As fool who wants to win as couple, I decided to tell cannibal to vote cupid with me, so that he kills bh at night, and then only my lover cannibal and me alive. People were saying I was going against my couple by not voting cannibal. But if I voted cannibal, couple wouldn't have win so I would have lose. What I did, even though it still ended with a village win because cupid didn't got lynched and canni killed my lover, wasn't going against my team aka couple right?
