Reports are reviewed manually by the Guardians only after 12 reports so it does take some time before it takes effect.
If these insults are really severe and for example racist, then you can indeed send a screenshot to a Guardian

The ban was probably not related to the game you were in just now, because it takes some time for staff to review reports etc. If you did get reported in this specific game, then the staff will look at those reports and they can also see the bad behaviour of the other persons that you tried to report ^^

Bans are based on 12 reports, so there were probably other things in your game history that were considered hateful or not allowed as well. So yeah you probably have to sit it out.... But you are ofc allowed to contact a Guardian and inform what other reasons they have for this ban, that mght help
