Apologies for the late reply. Life got busy. Of course, any role has counter arguments for any type of behavior. For example, random shooting is reckless but it also can kill a non-villager player and it can also remove a role from the game, preventing someone from claiming said role. So yes, there are definitely some procs and some cons to random revealing.

I do agree that it can be a useful way to prove both your role as well as someone else's role but at the same time, revealing without information can lead to a more vital role (Such as doc or medium) being confirmed to the wolves and putting a target on their back. It's a pretty controversial discussion honestly. Half the players think random revealing is bad/gamethrowing and the other half think it is good. So we're trying to find a happy medium.

May consider hosting a bit of a poll regarding whether it is gamethrowing or not, and whether there are certain circumstances where it is no longer considered gamethrowing (For example, after day one, random revealing is allowed).
