You mean a default bald skin that has optional hair? That isn't a thing, no. All skins have to meet a minimum number of items and hair is included in those items. While you can do a bald one with a mask item instead, if you choose to do hair, it will always be on the avatar to display it as one package. People can freely remove the chosen hair or replace it, but for display purposes and to make everything easier on the devs, hair is automatically placed on the avatar.

So for this skin you're creating, you have to display everything included on the preview and when purchased, everything included is also present and can then be swapped and changed.

Of course, I'm always happy to help fellow artists! Second sex skins are always optional, especially if you're doing a clan quest since those tend to be unisex. If you're doing a clan quest, just remember that for gold quests it's a maximum of 6 items and 8 items for gem quests.

whenever I check there are already active clan quests and I am not participating

To participate in clan quests, you have to click the paw icon, which is your clan page, then the gear icon which is settings, and make sure you've checked "participate in upcoming quests". Once that's checked, it'll enable you to participate in the quest. Depending on your clan rules, you may have to donate a certain amount of gold or gems to actually take part in it, but once you've donated, you should be able to do them.

the hat is a bit small, it not cover the head and imagine when wearing a hair, bigger will get better
the shirt and some detail need simple shading ( maybe just 1 side dark and other side lighter)

Hi Rim! You haven't been around in awhile, I hope you're okay!

There isn't a standard canvas size to use, but generally bigger is better for quality and so you have enough room to play around with effects and fronts. I'd suggest 3000x3000 just to give you enough room, but if you're used to smaller canvas sizes or using a mobile device you can try 1500x1500 or 1800x2200.

Layers normally don't contribute to reduced quality, it's pretty much based on the canvas size and how you export it. If you find that moving layers does effect the quality, try keeping everything to a couple of layers instead of one for every item.
