Oop sorry to intrude on the adorable convo here, but if you meant the theater background they used then that's just the background you have to use when making a preview of your skin for submission. You can make one or use a stock image (non-copyright) and blur it. Most people opt for the latter since it's easier. And for submission, you don't need to submit it in svg, that's only if it gets put in-game.

Wait, was that the mini-mod feedback you received or just people in general? All of that combined sounds so nitpicky and condescending in some places. The eye highlight is fine (and nowhere in the style guide does it say it can't be mirrored), the hairline looks natural for the style you've chosen, and the background is very pretty! You put so much work into it! 😭💚

This is a very cute idea! ❤ I love her freckles and how fluffy her hair is! I also love the monochrome island/vacation theme here, goths deserve a summer break too! ❤ There are a few things that go against the designing rules though. Hair can't go behind the back due to how the shirts are designed, none of them fit properly if the hair is behind the avatar. It also looks like you've used an airbrush for the blush and gradients for the lips, both of which can't be used, you'll have to fake gradients for both to get the same depth. It also looks like you've used the airbrush for the ends of the hair, which also needs to be solid. I'm not entirely sure about the sparkles in the flowers, but I would assume that they need to be hand-drawn and not an added effect. I'll have to check on that though! Other than those things, I think you have a lot of potential with this and can do some very pretty things!

It really depends on the rest of the skin! Pure black looks amazing with any bright or jewel-tone colors but it also makes shading and detail work a little more difficult. Whatever color you choose (I personally think red and purple stand out the best), use it to color the end of the lace to look like jewels and in the middle of the two side pieces, the solid black center of them would be perfect for a gem! Also, the wolf silhouette is appropriate and adds a lovely little bit of backstory for this gothic beauty. Almost like they're attempting to blend in with the villagers at a gala or masquerade party!

I really like the colors and the grave is amazing! Same goes for the eyes, they look so dreamy, it‘s really pretty. But maybe you could do two different hats? I already like the one you have, but you could change it up a bit, so it isn‘t the same thing again. It's just my personal taste but I think the eyes could be a little smaller and the mask style is really good, but maybe it will look more natural if you rework some shapes.Try stretching it to the sides with the Ibis tools until you find a way that you find more pleasant.

If you used a fill, I advise you to increase its extent or fix it manually.
You also have places where you forgot to erase extra lines. You circled your hair on all sides, which I do not advise you to do.

This is definitely a cute draft! I think you have a lot of potential here and could turn it into something very beautiful. But there are a few things here that go against the design rules that you should consider fixing before doing the final version. You can't use outlines like you've done throughout the entire skin, they just don't look that great in the games style and add too much bulk. You also need to blend in your shading to make the colors as seemless as possible, that way it translates better as hair shading instead of blocks of color.

Design wise, I think the hair style you've chosen is a little flat. You could add more volume and fluff on the sides to fill up the area and showw off the pretty shades of brown you've used. ❤️ I also think changing the bangs to a single thickness would look more concise. But I can't wait to see what you do with this, hopefully you're able to make your vision come to life!

OOH I LOVE THIS. 💜 💙💜 I would definitely keep the teeth but you might want to change the purple flames to purple spit/drool so it wraps around the teeth more instead of highlighting them. It would add a more vicious, even sinister vibe to the skin. She looks like a cyber hunter ready to slay some creatures with no fear, def channel that into the clothing!

The iris placement on the female version makes her look a little cross-eyed from afar, you may want to center them like you did on the male version since the more white on each side, the less crossed the eyes will be. 💚 It also looks like the females freckles extend past her skin and into her hair, which looks off. You may also want to add another light brown shade for the hair highlight or extend the white highlight through the middles and ends of her hair to even it out and make all of those beautiful curls shine! 💜 Other than those small things, make sure you blur the background image (the forest) since it's a stock image and blurring it will help smooth out any pixelated parts and make your designs stand out even more.

Aww, it's so adorable! 💙 I love the muted blue color pallete used throughout the entire skin! Monochrome skins are gorgeous and there's not enough of them! The droopy eye bags and little pouty frown definitely bring it all together too, it's a mood. 💙

The only real feedback points I have is that her eyebrows are completely hidden by her bangs. You may want to change the style of them by extending them past the stray hairs, just adding a hint that they're there or make them more circular so they stick out more. The hair highlighting is sparse and could be extended through the hair more evenly. The overalls could use some detail work by highlighting the metal snaps and bringing some much needed shading to the straps and edges of the main fabric panel, even adding some fabric folds to it like the turtleneck would help. You could even add some blue/yellow stitching across the straps and top of the overalls and a pocket to bring that much more character to an already gorgeous design! 💙 Otherwise, I can't get over how beautifully sad this design is and how much I need it in my life!

Aaah, this is just too precious! 💙 I love the aesthetic of braces, they add a very playful and bright vibe to any character design. Who doesn't love a brace face? I also really love the muted pastels against the dark brown hair and the perfectly mottled clothes shading. It creates such a vintage feel and I need it immediately! 💙

I can't find anything wrong with your design other than some small things, but you may still want to change them. The green and yellow brackets don't look like they're on the teeth, they look like they're floating above them. It also looks like the mouthpiece drops off after the pink bracket so it isn't perfectly straight. Fixing the drop and placing the two brackets higher up will help keep them all in a straight line and look balanced. The points where the headgear wraps around the head are also normally rounded and not as sharp, it might look better rounded off there too! Id suggest cleaning up some of the hair shading(making them sharper+less wobbly in some areas). Same thing with the eyes(?) on the back item, the white looks a bit wobbly. Alsoo I'd suggest trying to get rid of the gray outer layer around the shirt since outlines aren't really allowed.

2nd skin: Pretty, i see nothing wrong

3rd skin: masks feel too detailed, but they shld be accepted. Grave is too long.

Very pretty! I think the eyebrows may be too detailed though, but that may just be me. Remember ur skin is being shown on a like 3 by 3 cm template on a mobile phone...

I marked in red the places that need to be fixed.
That is, extra points that you could draw by accident and holes that you also forgot to paint over or did not notice.
Also marked are the lines you drew crooked.
I marked in blue places, more precisely the tips of the lines, which in my opinion should be pointed.
the guy has wool in his clothes and judging by the curlyness sheep's wool which in my opinion cannot be combined with his modern mask.
I think it's more like you're just putting items from two sets together.
moving on to the hair, I would change the shadows. Would make their color not so sharp.

I also advise you to make the guy's eyebrows thicker.

You decide what to fix and what to leave. If you leave clothes - the mask, eye color and bg will not reckon with it.
Turning to clothes, I think that the problem is not in the mask, eyes and bg, but in the clothes themselves.
Bg I cannot fully appreciate, because I cannot see it, but it seems that this is also something from the futuristic range. Since the main theme for you was futuristic - stick to it. Don't add extra items.

You should try making the shading and highlights a bit more muted and try removing the outline from around the iris.' Along with making the eyes a bit smaller and maybe adding the sclera/eyewhite. I wanna suggest considering slightly reworking the hair, and looking to some of the ingame items for inspiration so you can match the game style better.

You can dm the mini-mod that you sent it to and remind them at you're awaiting their response. They may have gotten busy with other mod work and just forgot to reply to you, but the normal response time is only a few days. They try their best to do it within 24-48 hours, but things happen.

Id suggest smaller facial features, use 2-3 transparent layers instead of a gradient on the lower lip(gradients aren't allowed), remove the thin outline around the shirt/recolor it to the base color of the shirt(outlines aren't allowed), annd probably remove the outline around the iris

The highlights and shading are well done and make it look so realistic and shiny! I also love the green you've chosen for the eyes, those accent colors bring everything together! ❤

I do agree with the other feedback, the shirt is beautiful but too light. It'll clash against the darker skin colors and look non-existent on the paler ones. I'd suggest either a pure or off-white so the scars show up better and look more pronounced and so it goes better with the skin tones in-game. Other than that, everything looks amazing! ❤
