I think it's a nice idea, but the eyes are outlined. I like the shirt but I would add some more shading and I would change the hair a little (do the color you want the hair to be and then add some shading in a darker tone because now it looks a bit messy I think. A bit too much shading in my opinion) But I really like those little comic like signs

There is already a gg outfit ig, im pretty sure that isnt a problem but you should keep that in mind to not do it similar to it.
That being said , the shirt is looking good, the eyes and the shouting are outlined, outlines are not prohibitted but they might not be everyones cup of tea. I would make the glasses a big bigger because ig they will look really small. The hair shape is cool, but the shading doesn't really fin wov style, you can look some hairs ig to get references.
I think the outfit is going to a good place gl with it

• the hairline is too high, you could try making the hairline a bit lower
• as i see, you use medibang app. For smoother drawing and lines, you can set your correction in the upper left corner on 15-20, it helps

Of the frame

You either deal with it or you remove it by making a new file/format/concept. There should be a option to change the size of the frame and below that afaik there is a option to turn of shadow and change the color of the frame.

You can use the align tool to find the center, just make a circle or something. Then you use the align tool (the once opened with all the lines and boxes) then it should be standard on align to last but that’s not what you want so you change it in the dropdown menu to align to “frame” I don’t remember the legit word cuz I haven’t opened in a while.

Btw if I may ask @coarse island which version do you have of inkscape? Cuz I personally have 3 different ones on different pc’s

Wov style is no small details so the brush should be large/thick enough

The wov style should be resembling a cartoon-like style, flat surfaces with just enough shading without making it too 3D, no perspective, meaning a cube should be a square with maybe a bit of dimension, when it comes to dices 🎲
But in general avoid adding too much dimension/perspective

If you wanna get an idea of how its supposed to look you can, of course, look at #dev-vote or in game at skins, or you could google "vector art" to get an idea of the style

Not much to regard otherwise, make sure your final results don't look too "sketchy" meaning use clear and crisp lines instead of a more sketched style that consists of many small lines
Clean and crisp is also the general guideline for designing, no gradients, no rough brushes, you should have a clean edge, no airbrush, don't use black outlines to surround your items, instead add shading with a slightly darker colour to a flat shape to give it a bit of depth

Else, Design away, just try avoiding religious symbols, offensive symbols and too much gore

I personally use these four brushes, one for symmetry, one for sparkles (rotation symmetry on the setting "lines : 4") and then a sharp pen, meaning with pen pressure size fade in and out and a regular pen which has rounded ends

I think rotation symmetry pen might just be a medibang thing tho

just made one with a white bg, so it's easier to see the hair

I just noticed how hard it was to see it in discord (and there is shading on the back of the hair, it's just that discord quality isn't good)

I think it has to do with how the graphic information about the image is stored in the code. A gradient is like “this part should contain a gradation from color A to B” so each pixel will store a formula to calculate their color based on neighbor color etc, so yeah is difficult to load and store images with that kind of info, expecially compared to storing solid color info
