this part is an objective one; consider switching the colours; white for the female's blouse and the greenish for the male
this will make it look less frilly and appeal to a bit more, masculine audience so it would have a bit bigger chances in votes (sad but true, its just psychology stuff)

The gloved hands are a great idea! Though mixed with the shirt and hair in the same position, it looksa bit cluttered and their shape is almost too detailed and complex, so much that it doesnt immediately recognizes as gloved hands

It's a littlebit odd that there is a sword in the grave thats not an actual item?
various ways to 'solve' could be

• making the male weild both parrot and sword
• make a variant of the background where the sword is mounted on the (other) shoulder
• replacing the grave completely, maybe with a ripped up/tattered pirate flag, big cut in the middle

Something about the** female hair** doesnt look 100% right to me, maybe the hair line on the far right is a bit too high up and it fits weirdly with the tilt of the hat
the big bunch of hair on the right side also makes her face look quite rectangular,maybe there should be less of the hair in the front of the face/hanging loose

even though those colors are both blue, they come from different hues, while one is more like a dark blue, the other is more like a cyan... it's more appropriate to use the same hue but in different shades... I don't know if I'm correct, but that is what I believe
