It looks good so far!! The only thing for me is that the ends of some of the lines are a bit pixely. Try switching to a brush that gives you smoother lines so that the design looks less picky overall. Gj so far :3

Looks really nice so far! Love the dragon in the background. I have 2 things which I would suggest: the hair has a lot of line lighting. I would try to add more shading, and use shapes over lines to make it loom less flat :3 also, the shirt looks great but thr detailing on it is really dim and won't be viewed easily in game. Other than that, great job so far!

If you use the bucket fill it can cause this problem, especially if you use the tool twice but it could also be canvas size

I use a small canvas size it's like 1400 x 2200 or something close bc it lags if I use a lot of layers on a bigger canvas; even this is small though! It could also be the program you use too?

Simply use the shade you want the fade to start with and then take the eraser, make it pretty big, and then start erasing first a big part of it, then a few inches down do the same again and another few inches down again

That way you have a fade that's less translucent but still you can see a fade is there
