@rustic estuary eyes have nice colours, but have outlines. Im not sure but i think mouth also has an outline. Hair can't go behind back. And it needs more shading, the pink isn't really visible.

Wwo's style might be difficult to get used to especially if your own drawing style is usually realistic and very detailed. All I can suggest is to not stress too much over it and learn at a pace you're comfortable with and never give up on it.
I find your design very cute and I love the bg idea although it might not be as simplistic as the wwo's style asks but I think you'll get the hang of it in no time if you keep having fun designing

@regal wharf Absolutely amazing, but what theme are you trying to go for, as when you submit your design. You will need to think of a name, which is pretty hard. Also eye highlights are mirrored.

that kind of mask should be longer imo (it's weird without hair i imagined), and the eye hole further/bigger bcuz not every eyes will have that same placed && eyes look bit too close
