There's a huge amount of fake gradient that's also flat on the hair and the eyes' highlights are mirrored

#

As the style guide hasn't been updated recently, you may not know that fake gradient is now allowed to a small portion since it wouldn't be in WWO's style

Hat:

I think the stars are a hat item, if they're not then please correct me on this one. The 'sparkles' on them are too small, they wouldn't be visible in game, and they could use some shading. The headband is messy.

Hair:

It'd look nicer if at least the buns were placed at the same height and if they had the same size. I would also work on the shading as it doesn't give off that hair 'texture' right now (I suggest to look at #dev-vote to see how others also shade their hair)

Eyes:

They're too far from eachother, maybe also too low and her irises seem to looking at opposite directions. The highlight is mirrored and the eyebrow is not noticeable much because of the colour. The placement of the eyes looks crooked (one looks a bit more high up than the other). The dots under her eyes look kinda random, not sure if it fits the theme.

Mouth:

The lips look outlined and there's gradient on the bubblegum.

Shirt:

It looks very plain, doesn't show signs of arms. Perhaps shade it more and add wrinkles and folds to make it look more loose (I'm guessing the shirt you wanted to go for is a jumper)

Background:

Looks messy and in need of shading

Foreground:

Randomly placed and lacks shading

Glasses:

They're crooked

I can't really see it so I don't have much feedback. The lines are messy.

Eyes:

for the third time, they have gradients

Mask:

messy, on the male one there's a randon dot

Shirt:

you can see there was outline before and its a little messy as well, it wouldn't hurt to shade the male shirt a bit more. Both 'brooches' in the middle have small details that can't be seen.

Background:

the female background are just thin lines that blend with the shirt

Other:

overall, it's messy. It has random dots and lines here and there, the kines are not 'stable' and the colouring on some part is missing.

I think you are trying to shade with too bright colors. Maybe you could use some less saturated ones. You can also use multiplying layers and experiment with different colors such as grays, blues or browns.

@quick harbor the mods are usually much busier, so thats probably why there isnt an instant response, but you shouldnt worry about your design getting into the tourney

@quick harbor I spend a day building up ideas, depending on how I edit it, it can be longer or shorter than the idea, but usually I do it pretty fast so there may be many errors that I don't notice.
