I think the dark blue part of the shirt is supposed to look like fur or something but rn it doesn't look like it (Maybe I'd say the same thing about the tail but it's mostly because instead of a fur-like shading there's fake gradient), the shirt could use some more shading and it basically just follows the template body shape.
The hairline looks wrong??? (the sides reach to a certain point and in the centre the hairline is pretty higher up than it should be)

I personally would use a different background, since at the moment it looks flat and busy, and you won't be able to have much contrast to put a front item. For black and white color, galaxy theme would be cool. Use more curves, shading - that would work with WWO style better imo @worldly lynx

@quick harbor possibly use the mirror tool and stabiliser, I also use ibis paint but I don't have a stylus, as for the brush I use "Dip Pen (Hard)" with usually the Force Fade option on.
For the shading I'd say to "study" or at least observe the shading style on #dev-vote.

On the eyes you can use references but make sure to not trace or copy

it is allowed. check the eyes in game and u'll see ur fine. im not sure how they define "false gradient" 😭 but to me once real gradient is turned into vector, it's called false gradient to me already. and that's the common way we demonstrate gradient in vector design, making blocks/layers of colors. maybe by saying fake gradient isnt allowed, somebody means less blocks/layers of colors?
