Gradient is present in the hair, it's outlined and the lines are quite messy.

The eyes look too close to eachother or it could be the eye shape (they look as if the face is kind of squashed together), their highlights are mirrored and they look too detailed.

Given by the avatar's outfit, the colours of the front item (green and highlight-like yellow) don't really fit.

Is the theme medium?

Big "outlines" can be created as shape in vector programs. In this case you could consider it 2 black heart shapes on top of a big pink shape, overlapping each other :)

@rich ridge the hair does not just stick the head (unless wet but even so it's not completely flat on the head) , there are strands and hair sections that stick out. Remember that hair is flowy.

The quiver must be at the back. The strap on the front will result bugs with other shirts. And the arrows don’t point up with their head. Make the back of the arrow visible (the side with the flights) and a compound bow wouldn’t use these arrows

It is decent so far, but i dont really see a theme in it so far. Ladybugs is the only thing i can imagine but it is still pretty bland. Anyways, here are some issues i found:

-the polka dots on each the left side on the mask and the shirt are exactly the same as the ones on the right. Maybe put some off-set on the left parts to make it look less copy pasted
-the grey and black part in the center are really bland, some shading or details will fix that
-speaking of shading, the whole outfit misses some shading
-the eyes look pretty messy, mostly because you used lines instead of shapes. That will fix it already
-there are these weird spots that shouldnt be there. (See ss)

@radiant totem it is nice so far, you could see the improvement in your designs, so that is a really good thing. Anyways, i noticed this about your design:

-in comparison with the female shirt the male shirt is pretty bland and boring. Especially the lower part of the male shirt. Maybe give it some more detail or add something extra to make it look less bland
-the overall shading is based on lines and not on shapes. Try using shapes instead. I know it is your style but since you used a new way of drawing hair and shading it, so why dont try out a new way of shading as well? It will most likely even improve your outfit even more
-the, i guess ruby, on the head item of the girl has a lot of colors, but most probably wont be even visible ingame, maybe move some of these colors. It is harder to see on other rubies, so maybe check those as well
-the hood from the boy has those red lines which dont connect properly to the shirt
-the pearls used for the female head item dont seem to go around her head and i cant exactly why tbh...
-the end of the arrows have too much of a color difference to be seen as shading. Maybe make it all have the same color and apply normal shading
