The black line is hairline and the sides of hair should be mirrored, the top looks weird cause u can't see the hairline. I think the middle part needs some shading too which would follow the lines I drew.
Shading on tail seems to be too soft maybe make it darker
And the top part of mouth are teeth? I'm confused why aren't they a straight line

• Overall the half green thing is a cool idea and definitely new, that's cool 💪 It took me a while to understand what's going on, unsure if good or bad
• Promo background: minor, but it does kind of conflict with your star back item (too many dots?). Either blur more or pick something else?
• Shading is fine. Hair could maybe (?) use a tad bit more, also the shirt, but is 90% fine realy
• Alien in ship is a bit hard to see (black blur with black dots in it ...). Why the black tint?
• Female ears (??? 😄 ) have gradient. Maybe fine in this case as it looks really cool, maybe there is an alternative?

• Overall: a lot of the colours are very close to each other (hair, shirt, back), which makes it heard to see the character
• Some details like the round ting on the head a very detailed and look blurry when viewed in small. What's the black border and why is it not smooth? Might help a lot
• Otherwise it's mostly fine. It could maybe use a bit more "wow / crazy / ...", maybe some bigger wings to make it stand out more? 🤷‍♂️

@stone prawn there isn’t really a how to since different people shade and draw in different ways. There are some main rules like: no gradient, no outline and no hair behind the back. You just need to keep that in mind and then just draw. You can always ask for feedback here and all the nice people will help you improve

based on the default body template, the light comes from the right side (since right half body skin is brighter and left half body skin) I think.
