Hey guys 👋 Congrats to all the designers that had their outfit in the BP vote and congrats to the winners 🎉 This vote was really hard, there were so many really good outfits to choose from. BP12 is by far the season with the most outfits submitted! Thank you again everybody for helping to contribute, you guys are awesome! 💪

To help you make even more great outfits in the future, we would like to give you more and better feedback on your outfits, especially with focus on the general style and how that fits with the WWO theme. That's why, starting today (Monday realistically) you can ping me in this channel with your image asking for style / theme feedback. Some rules about that:

• Comments will be on style / theme only. You will get feedback indicating how well the outfit would fit into the app, not on how well the art is done. For example you won't get feedback about colour, but you might get feedback about being "too realistic", "not crazy enough" etc.
• Please ping only once per outfit. Subsequent pings will be ignored
• Don't send your image as a PM. We want feedback to be public so everybody can have a chance to learn
• Please make sure your image shows as much of the outfit as possible, meaning the avatar should have ideally 6 items or more.
• This is an experimental trial which we'll do for one week, ending next week Friday.

There have been many cases of outfits having top rating in the voting gallery where I would have given a bad feedback and vice versa. The best indicator for your outfit will remain the rating in the voting gallery. This feedback is intended as a step before that to possibly find reasons for issue ratings.

• Colours: too "flat", make them pop a bit more. These are super bright flowers, right? Make it show! Currently the kind of blend with the background
• Details on flower are a bit much, when viewed smaller they blur / look grissly. Try keeping the flow shape a bit simpler
• Front / back are a bit funky. Back is floating. Both by themselves look a bit lost.
• Eyes are cool, have gradient though??

@quick harbor those are drawings, right? You might want to give inkscape or similar a try, they really aren't that difficult but do immediately result in much "cleaner" lines. Not strictly style, but helps the appearance immensely 👍

• Male eyes + mouth is great, crazy & new

• Unsure about the rest of the style 🤔 close, but not 100% there. It's very realistic, is there maybe a more comic like version of a wolf hat with like too big eyes, too fluffy, etc? Basically less "serious" and more over-the-top if that makes sense

@quick harbor it's not that, no. More that non vector graphics usually have this style to them where lines don't look "clean". With vector graphics this is a lot harder to achieve, which is why vector graphics usually look better. Especially when combined with a comical style. \

So in short: you either have to be extra good designer on mobile, or simply use vector graphics as it's easier to use 🤷
