@topaz silo you used a brush with soft ends which creates a gradient. If you want to get the same effect but without the real gradient, you can use multiple layers on a low oppacity

I don’t know why it’s that way but I have the feeling the edges of the whole outfit are a bit too rough. I love the idea of a Santa outfit, but it doesn’t « flow » all together if that makes sense

@shrewd mirage this can work, but it needs still a lot of improving, so this is what i suggest to change:
-the edges are rough at the shirt area, remove them or make them more smooth. It really stands out but in the wrong way
-the shading on the beard is weird, i suggest you to look at the beard from the cavemen and wizard outfit (both are older ones) to see how to shade it
-the hat looks weird too, probably due to the hat looking like it is leaning forward. It can fall of his head like right now. Take some examples from the santa hat currently ingame.
I really think this can work when you get the things i mentionned get corrected. maybe as front item you can make some gifts or so. Keep up the good work, you can do this

for the Match. The fire and the match are cool designed and look good, but two things. First, the fire and the match look like they are two different items. They ate not 1, because you placed them above each other and even placed highlights on it. Try to make it looks like the match is burning. You can try other opacity 🔥👀
Second, the red thing around the fire looks like outlines, I would just remove them and look at fire agail ^^

Question to ya'll, maybe somebody knows more: most of the popular fairy tale stories are owned by Disney. While they don't own the original story itself, they are very good at claiming copyright / trademarks on their version of the story, which is pretty much how we see those stories today. That includes obvious things like the exact images, but also simpler things like certain color combinations which make you think of specific characters.

@burnt apex your design looks wonderful, but I do see why there may be concerns about copyright. The appearance of your beast is very similar to Disney's version in form and color scheme. The clock, candle, and the rose inside the glass are also Disney's additions to the fairytale. Since the Beauty and the Beast is a distinctive fairytale by itself, ex. A beast and a rose, it will be safer to use other items you may find in original fairytale to create your own Beauty and the Beast 😉

- No rose, without or without cover. Maybe a different flower if you'd like that
- The candle is from the dancing candles, right? Needs to go too 😦 Maybe a different style / colours. In the current version it reminders me very much of the dancing guys
- Clock: same as the candle. They have that speaking clock, right?
- Hairy guy: can't speak for the details there. Maybe there are references to how the monster looked like in the original drawings?

However, the rose itself is an important symbol emphasized throughout the fairy tale and is used as the catalyst for the contract between beauty's father and the beast in the forms of a rosebush in the beast's castle/request of a returning gift. But ye some things to improve ^^
first of all, I would recommend that you read the style guide, which is pinned in this channel. There is written, that outlines are not allowed so you have to remove them from shirt, tongue and the other parts you used them. It can also look good without.
Shirt:
For the shirt, I like the color, but maybe you can change the one sided shading? It's not in use anymore and looks kinda weird ^^ you can also add more details and if you want that you can see a kind of sleeve, you can add shading on the left and right of the ||not visible arms||
Mouth:
the mouth and tongue could also be less like just lines. Try to make them more like a mouth ^^ as reference you could use #dev-vote. At the same time, I think the tongue is too light. Try to use another red. A darker one would look better.
Lines:
The lines on left and right should not be too different to be hones and just lines are kinda weird. You can try to mirror it more and place it on the left and right more in the middle.
Eyes:
the eyes are too low placed and I would work on the shape and details. The blue destroys my eyes btw ;*;
Hair:
The hair could have clearer lines, because it currently it looks pretty messy ;-;
All in all:
the outfit is a nice start, but could need more improvement ^^ I'm sure you can work with the feedback you get here in this channel and the others will help you. Keep on the work

- changing eyeshape? (Totally up to you the eyes look lovely either way)
- making thicker and less lashes -> kind of required the eyes look a bit overdetailed :3
- adding shading to the white shirt as well, optional but it would be nice :3
- make the lips lightest and darkest colour a bit less light/dark -> only Personal preference
- change the arm seperations by drawing them with black and then turning the opacity of the layer to around 50% :p and making them thicker -> not obligatory

do you mean, for a design you made, or for sharing your ingame avatar ?

In game -> via sharing, you click on the share symbol, these 3 connected dots on android the "↪" on ios and select any background or import ur own
For your design -> two options
A. Export your design as transpareng png, create a new canvas, which is bigger in width and slightly in height (no reason, just aesthetic-wise), add any google or stock picture which suits the theme, blur it, import your design, adjust it in bigness
B. Way less effort, create a photo layer with the photo you wanna use, move it underneath all layers + the body template, blur it, done.
Idk about the blur part in ibis, i'd assume you're using ibis correct me of wrong, but in medibang in the layer options you got one saying "gaussian blur"
Like that you can blur in the app itself.
