@quick harbor I rlly love it so far, I’d suggest removing the bright yellow border around the beak so it’s left with just a lighter yellow upper beak and a darker yellow lower beak
Also if you replaced the further most blue in the duck’s eyes with white it’ll give off a seriously cute effect

The color of the mask doesnt fit in the whole concept of the outfit, just recolor is and it should be fine. Make the eyebrows thicker too and maybe even give him an angry look. It really looks nice so far

@bold bluff first of all... Wow.... It looks really cool but there are some things, which do not fit. Especially the green teeth and yellow nose. I like the colors but it does not fit with red. The colors are too bright and if you do not use them somwhere else too, it looks weird. Try to make the eyes smaller and the pupils in the eyes a lil bit bigger.... In my opinion there are enough eyes like this already in game ^^' the wings are interesting but tbh they look flat and have a weird shape.... The shirt and the front item look so extremely flat, because you didn't add any color difference on it. Especially the front item. The horns are nearly the same color as the hair and maybe you could move the pet to the right?

Have made some of the suggested changes. Still adding little more details to the shirt and horns.

horns are a weird shape and lack shading. eyes are still too close together, and they look compressed. i still cant see any difference between the facial hair and the shirt. if the colour of the mask didnt match the rest of it, what makes you think the yellow on the front item will? plus, its too small to be seen. overall looks bland with purely red and black. the hair doesnt fit the vibe of the rest of it (sophisticated while everything looks more fierce) and throughout the entire avatar theres barely any shading (if not none. at all.) and why are his sleeves so big? or is that a cape? again, i cant tell because its all the same colour without any shading.
its also a pretty illogical shape for a horn, if you consider what it would look like in 3D. the general shape is feasible, but the way you drew it severely lacks depth.
i'd say the problem isnt the shape but rather how you execute it.

plus, you cant just use a colour for one (1) part of the avatar and never have it show up again. yellow would go fine with this, but the issue is that theres only yellow in at most 2 parts including your mask.
for example i used blue gold and white in a colour scheme, more so of blue and white bc theyre decent together, but i didnt just make ONLY the hairbands / necklace gold.

@bold bluff Don’t trash it. Take this criticism with grace because after all it is constructive and an important part of the designing process.
I agree with Lime, adding a little more color will go along way. Make the top dark grey instead of black and the wings black instead of gray this way the hair might show more (beard) and shade the top and collar with grey and some dark and light red to the horns to define their direction (the tip is going towards the front or back) and to make the yellow match more - add more in the top and mask ( a tiny bit)
I like the direction your going and love the concept it just needs a tiny bit of revision
Don’t be offended when someone gives an opinion and advice because this is the very purpose of the channel

you see I am Color Deficient, so similar tones can appear many colors to me. I come here for the advice of my peers for that exact thing, actual ideas for color changes or design improvements. Despite my color impairment, I feel I do an ok job. Greens and reds and oranges at some tones blend and I cant tell them apart. so color scheme becomes a slight challenge

@quick harbor personally, i dont think the eye on the top should be the same color as the other 2. the colors being the same honestly makes it so the eye only really fits with those eyes ingame. i personally like to mix n’ match avatars so id like it better, unless the 3 eyes are gonna be all together in the eye category. i suggest making that eye for the mask area and making it black/white to add more depth to your design choices. really cool concept!
