• I am not completely done with the shading of the hair yet but I am very happy how it is turning out! Im only scared that there are already hairs that look very much like this one . I tried to fit the current wov style, I hope it does?
• My idea for the shirt is cape with fancy shirt thingy under it (like the og Dragon Girl but then better). I am happy with the cape and the upper part of the shirt but this is the first time I'm making boobs and I don't think it's my talent yet xD. And I think the shirt needs a little more but I am not sure what?

(I know I still need to shade the bows and part of the hair, working on it)

For now I am going to start on eyes, I think that that is already one of my worst qualities and now I want it to fit the current wov style too My plan is to make them way "softer" than I normally would

• would make the hair with more volume currently they look like they’re glued to the scalp
  (if you’re going for that look i’d still make the hand stand out a little more)
• i feel like the colors don’t really go well together but that’s just my opinion

Okay ^^, btw I would advice you to draw a pencil sketch on a layer above (for direction of the hair grow, and the stuff and shading on the top of the hair), maybe also flip the drawing sometimes to check if everything is symmetrical :D.

I use 3000*2000 but I also dont use a pixel based program, so it just a random number idk if it gives the best quality payoff if you use a pixel program

idk what app you use or what devices but in illustrator it uses cymk on desktop as default but rgb default on ipad, but if you did both on the same device its weird indeed, maybe the preset changed automatically

some apps also let you choose which colour profile you wanna export in, but other than that idk what else could cause it

Tbh once you open your colour wheel you can normslly tell which setting it is on

cymk vs rgb most likely, cymk colour look very different to rgb, on desktop the preset colour profile is often cymk as it is for print and commonly used for graphic design

you should be able to change colour profile tho

but if its only a display issue it might be dependant on the devices you use

here is how to check what colour profile it is set on, but if its a display issue idk how you could fix it

Okay so, I think the theme is really cute! Right now there isn't a clear separation between the mask and the shirt, I would leave out the part of the neck of the mask. Besides that, multiple items are outlined, which kinda makes it look a bit flat, like the eyes on the mask and the shirt. I do like the cute piece of hair on the mask! It can also use some shading on the shirt and mask, I would recommend maybe searching for some references or look at items in game.

I do think it has a lot of potential and its a cute theme!

it is always important to remember, as far as special offers go, there are fixed designers, so whilst of course you also have a chance, design vote is more for reference and growing as a designer, you have nothing to lose anyway. Quests ofc have a higher chance, a lot of quests are from smaller designers! for higher chances of getting in game you can always try your luck for the battlepass, since the vote is direct, voted by the community and 5 designs of the array that was submitted are guaranteed to get in, and then there are also a bunch that get picked for bp quests. In the end practice makes perfect and trial and error is important, becoming a designer for wov actually helped me find a career path, so I think there are many upsides, even if your design does not end up in game

I wanna add to this that even if you get a bad rating, you shouldn't let that demotivate you. I literally (like, literally) have created the worst rated skin from when we could still vote in-game. That same skin also got an historically big amount of downvotes in #dev-vote. Howeverrrr, I am still designing and I am now confident that I have much improved since then, There are a lot of awesome members here that want to help you by giving feedback. I have been helped soooo much with my designs. And as long as you're having fun it's all good!

Also if it's any comfort I am a 100% sure you're not going to get the most downvotes ever

So, a couple of tips:

1. try using a bigger canva, rn you can clearly see the pixels and that's not good (id' suggest a 2000*4000 resolution)
2. the eyes look like a recolour of the default one, i'd advise you try and make those yourself
3. everything appears outlined (might be due to the low resolution)
4. some spots are not fully coloured (like in the shirt)
5. some lines are extreamly wobbly, i'd suggest you get a drawing app with a stabilizer/use one in your app
6. the top of the hair is cut off, it must be all visible
7. (personal preference) i think the hair starts a bit too high, and so it appears that she has a massive forehead

the canva resolution is determinated by how many pixel you got in your image and so it determinates the canvas size, usually drawing apps let you choose the size when starting a new drawing

Inkscape is great but it's very unnatural when you start, not really beginner-friendly maybe

I personally design in Inkscape, it is very good for making very clean skins, without blurriness or wobbles. Also very easy to move, delete and edit items. But disadvatages are that it's not a natural way to draw, you really have to get used to it since you use vectors, it's not like painting with a brush and you cannot erase like you would normally do.

I also changed the mouth based on liams feedback and nastys feedback from earlier

Mouth isn't done yet, Im not happy with the lower lip hgihlight yet and it's still a bit messy

(now with the dark bg I see the small mistake in the left spot on the moon, already fixed it)
