Go to #bot-commands and do ?appeal <your ingame name> <yourxpcount> (That should look like ?appeal WerewolfPlayer 12345. Don't add the <>.)

If the bot answers 'Please check your ingame-name.', just check your wwo username (uppercase letters, numbers, dashes)

If the bot answers with 'Please check your XP count.', check if you took the correct numbers on your profile (try out ?h xp for more info!)

However when you play multiple times in Quick Play you get a feeling for some roles. If you think it is still too hard, you can suggest role set ups which might be added to Quick Play. @normal wyvern What I meant was that I have met too many level 1-3s in quickplay who get medium and don't do anything, dont talk at night, and usually commit suicide before the end. It is boring for them because they don't know the basics of the game, and it is detrimental to the villagers because it is basically a random factor. Similar problems with cursed and jailer.

@round quail Making a new staff role just to analyze ranked games and give back the sp that was lost if there was a successful report in the lobby doesn’t seem viable. First of all because giving back the sp was already suggested many times, but also because it would require too much attention on a single match = too much “judges” that would only focusing on doing this. The other game modes also have gamethrowers and people lose xp too. People would also request this for their game mode and it’s not viable. Hope it was not too confusing and you can understand.

@cyan barn To be honest I believe it’s better to have the win condition written out than just “default”. Not every player knows the “default” win condition and check it to make sure they’ll be able to win with their team. For the fact that it’s less characters, it was never a problem that the win condition has too many characters. Thanks for the feedback, tho!

@kind mesa it’s not necessarily about it being boring or not, battle pass items are about gaining them really and my point was that not everyone can achieve all of them because not everyone is a hard-core dedicated player. It would be nice for those to choose the tiers they want as to not miss out on them.

As I said, heterosexual words are also censored, so how can it possibly be homophobic?
And again it also functions to protect people, from being called gay etc insultingly,which is sadly still a very big percentage of why the word is used in game. Much more so than being inclusive and positive about it.

The announcements ig should not be hidden in settings, there should be a 📢 on the mainscreen. And maybe make it Red or something when there is a new announcement.

A more serious suggestion (wall of text ahead) -------------------- I believe the solo voting roles (hh and fool) are a great concept. However,they are really difficult to play. Not in a good way. They are not challenging, but rather they rely on the village making a mistake (like the seers being asleep and you being able to claim seer as hh) or just making illogical decisions. In fact, 50% of my games the hh/fool reveals himself and asks to be shot, or leaves the game.

So winning as a solo role is near impossible if one of the 15 other players just says "warning hh ig". So the problem comes mostly from them knowing the roles in the game. My suggestion: combine them into one role. On the first night, the player has two choices: set himself as a target, or let the game pick a target from the good roles. Or random if he selects nothing. Now the villagers will actually have to do some psychology to figure out whether someone is trying to fool them.

Second point: solo roles (at least hh and fool, but can be extended to all sk except bandit, zombie, and sect) should not be penalized when suiciding, since they are not hurting their team.

You should try playing rank where people actually fake roles and the role “seer” doesn’t exist but rather there is aura which almost everyone fakes
If you could choose your target, that would mean that here would be no mislynches happening because the village is too scared to vote, making the rolelist unreasonable for a hh/mm game since it would be the same as fool
There is something called “evil alliance” it’s a term mostly used in ranked games and it means that all non villager roles should work together to make village lose. Selling solo day one or solo suiciding day 1 = village win usually except for extreme cases which ruins the whole balance

I also suggested hh reworks to make it more balanced as fool but devs like it the way at it is as a solo voter so we suggested that the rolelists in ranked should be changed accordingly which it did and now it’s balanced. I don’t know for other modes but in sandbox village would never lynch unless they got info which is like a auto evil win and they try to do 0 deduction which, idrk what to think of it for hh chances there really 😂

“Seer” role itself is wrong in any gamemode in my opinion. It discourages role faking and it can out solo voters too easily

When I said seers I meant four roles (Seer aura spirit and detective). 2. I didn't say choose target I said choose between being hh or fool without anyone else knowing what you chose. AT LEAST put "random voting" in the quickplay rolelist so the role stays hidden. 3. That's exactly the problem I was trying to fix. Fools are suiciding or throwing 50% of the time because the game is unbalanced against them. Or are you telling me that it is balanced, that playing fool is no harder than playing ww?

Winning as fool/hh obviously will be harder but you should know that if fool/hh dies then the village can vote more easily and just kill off the wolves. Same with sk suiciding, wolves get less kills and fool gets less time to be alive because village outnumbers

I'd like to be able to sort my inventory. Not only by rarity as often suggested already, also by theme for example (like Halloween, Fairy, Witch etc.)
The gold wheel honestly takes a bit long for spinning and often the game is lagging and I have to watch 2 ads for the spin button to appear - why not get rid of the spinning and give a random amount of gold directly after watching the ad?
Have a timer for when you can watch more ads if you have maxed out how many ads you watch.
Have the ability to donate roses (roses that you would otherwise give to a player) to the clan and other clan mates could ask to redeem them.
People could also be able to donate their roses instead of Gold. 1 Rose = 25 Gold.
How about an info page for the clan? With creation date, total amount donated, total gems donated (by all players ever together, also the ones who left), how many people have been in the clan, how many left, how many got kicked, how many games have been played... I think that would be interesting.

In addition to that, total gold/gems earned by myself on my own profile would be very interesting.

Similar to Clan Search, you could have a "friend search" with a small message which can be sorted by language too.

Message could be something like "I'm new and need someone to explain a few things", "I wanna test some role setups in customs if anybody is interested" or "I wanna play Sandbox all day" 😂

Except for searching a clan, there should also be "Searching a member", where you can select how often you wanna do Quests (one per month - one per week - all quests every week and everything inbetween) plus how much gold you are willing to spend for it. Language of course too.

There are so many clans and most are inactive, choosing between them is hard, so maybe it's sometimes easier for the clan to choose a member.

To make this easier as well, a clan should not appear in the clan search if they haven't done any Quest within 4 weeks to sort out inactives. And should have an "Inactive" on the Clan Profile.

The Leader should be able to re-activate this with a Gold fee tho.

I noticed that people get a bit grumpy and don't pay a lot of attention when they played a lot of games back to back, so maybe add a "break time reminder" after a few games within a short time. Something like "You have saved a lot of Villages, remember to take breaks to get celebrated!"

Quest Hero Points should mean something, so how about you get 100 Gold for each Point, or even 5 Gems. And at 20, 50, 100 Quest Hero Points, you could get a special item. This would encourage people more to do their xp in Clan Quests. Right now it's just a number and has no use.

There should be different Quest Hero Points. One for All Time (like now) and one for Last Month. To catch up to the Quest Heroes who have been in a clan since the start is almost impossible for a new member, but the Monthly would be possible at least.

If you use a Talisman and get converted night 1, it would be cool to get the Talisman back. I spent so much Gold to play a special role and then I can't even play it for a day :(

As a new player I would have considered it helpful to be able to spectate a full real game first. This should be a pre-recorded real game where everything just went as it should and people explain maybe a bit more than they would in a normal game.

Example: When ss calls Seer + another person red on the first day, that there will be the Sentence "14 claims Seer, so 16 has to be a role that killed last night"

Should also include the ww chat at night. Them finding SK for example and saying he can't be killed. And that Seer is probably protected by Doc

Bans should reset eventually. Like after three Months, the reports should not count anymore and bans should be treated like they never existed (of course still available to guardians).

(Exceptions can be made for extreme offenses)

We're all just humans and make mistakes or have a bad day. The reports should not hover over our head forever if we're generally a good player.

One more, I'm not sure how possible it is.
I assume the Devs make some money with the ads - idk how much and don't wanna tell them how to spend their money - but on certain days I'd be happy to see "X% of ad income will be donated to..."

With Awareness month, it could have been a Breast Cancer Foundation.
It might encourage people to watch ads on those days knowing they do something good along with it.

Hey ! Is it possible to add something like daily quests ?
We can make a quest per day and for example each 5 days we receive a prize, the more you do your daily quests, the biggest the prize will be.
The quests can be for example : "win 3 times as a gunner." or "score 300 points in a day."
This will permit to the non-buyer items to have more stuff. Like for example, a skin or gems.
And we can make sure that if we don't do the quest 1 time, your progression will reset, like if we don't do the quest number 37, we restart at the quest 1, this will permit to not have too much valuable item.

I know being able to switch the sides of the items has been suggested before - but I'd also like to suggest to simply be able to switch where the role Icon should be displayed.

To have an option in the setting to have roles displayed left, or even in the top corners (paci, med symbols always mirrored to the opposite side).

Ban reports say if you keep up your behavior the account will be terminated, but it has been said several times that perma bans cannot happen. So the wording should be changed.

For example: If you keep up this behavior, your ban time will get significantly longer.

Well... I disagree for multiple reasons. One, the wolves themselves are much stronger, there's berserk, nightmare, AND junior, as opposed to just shaman as a special wolf before. Most of the other town roles are generally weaker, like the lack of a Seer. And there's also rrvs, which is space that wolves can try to use to fake claims better. If anything, it's actually way easier for the wolves to win.

A second Medium's just a person that can be revived to most likely die again the next night.

Section off custom games (with tabs on the top): Serious Gameplay, Just for Fun, Password Needed... Right now it's kinda a mess.
Customizable background color for my Profile.
A personal clan emote: clans can choose between 5-10 unique emotes and choose one as their personal emote only usable for being in this clan. They can be changed for a gold fee (optionally: have to be bought with Gold in the first place).
Being able to set my own emoji in front of a name in the user list (like the favorite star), and add the sorting category "by custom emoji".

This could help sorting friends, or add a flag to clan members to know their language/timezone.

I would add an option to record the previous game after it is finished.
I would like to see totally different skin colors, like the green from the Zombie avatar as a Skin color for other avatars.
Would be nice to have a section in the game, where the people can share their best plays, like screenshots with a short title, for example "My first arso win!"
In a player profile, I would like to see a social area. People could share their profiles from YouTube, Instagram, Discord, Twitter...
Game invitations: Being able to give a short "Name" to the Friends Lobby, which gets included in invite notifications. For example "Rose Trade" or "Clan Game"
Players can volunteer to help new players for basic questions of the game when they join. If you sign up for this, you'd get 1 new member per week who can message you for their first steps.

New players can choose when joining if they'd like to make contact (> send friend request) to an experienced player.

Being able to choose the color of the Clan Name and background/font of the Clan Description

Idk if this has been said before, but my phone, like many other new phones, has a screen that curves in the corners (rather than 90° angles). Because of this, the bottom left ig player roles button and the bottom right emote button are partially cut off, making it really hard to tap them. If they could just be shifted a little bit inwards, that would be so helpful!!

@fading onyx heya this is the feedback channel after all, so you shoudnt worry about getting a ban if you stay respectful in your opinions.
The game is curently experimenting with new setups, so we really appreciate feedback about them! They were pre-tested for being balanced enough but its open for adjustments ^^
This setup is has cursed and multiple powerful wolves; nightmare ww, jww and ww berserk, which means mediums can be targeted pretty easily. There's also only one protector and a cannibal, so evil kills should be high and will almost guarantee there is no 2 revives.
There is 2 auras and no seer, which is arguably a tricky situation because of the many unknown aura-roles.
Ofcourse this is something new and challenging for the quickgame community, but in my opinion it's not as villager favoured as it seems.
Do you have any specific adjustments to this setup? Should it be tested in sb first instead of quickgame perhaps?

heya this has been suggested a few times before, but I think the devs choose to include this option because sometimes players do really have to go etc. And it's limited with a 5+ suicides=auto-ban

but also just people suiciding because they are bored of being glitched will restrict the corruptor's ability and help the village... I thin it might ave been suggested before, I will either ping you again with a link, or I will make a (re) post of it! 👍

There is currently some new and unique setups available in Quickgame, such as 2 mediums.
I think these unusual setups should first be tested in sandbox for balancing, before being available in Quickgame.
This kind of setup has never been available in the game before, people need time to discover how to play them and make new strategies. Sandbox would be a better base for that, as they can potentially teach their experiences to newer players later, and give more directed feedback about them to staff.

you only see rrv talismans if you roll for the rrv spot, so you wouldnt see if someone else will be fc
Same for random killers, you will only see the zombie talisman if you will be random killer, no exceptions
If you see that talisman, it means you will be zombie. It doesnt mean 'the random killer is zombie, someone else is zombie'
Any other user with this talisman equipped, would not be seeing it in this match.

The way i use it as a trick, mostly applies to random voting role; if i see hh AND fool talisman, it means there is random voter, instead of a listed role.
Because If I become fool in a random voter game, i cant tell for sure of it was random voter or fool as listed role, if i didnt have the time to check before the lobby started

I'd say only one category. Another one could be "Test" I forgot. Can't think of further details now, it's just to "tidy up" the custom game list right now. If 50% of those games are with a password I don't have, I don't need to see them 🤷🏻‍♀️
Edit: One more detail: Voice chat. As that fits all categories. Maybe you can check/uncheck this somewhere
I mean a literal emote, the moving ones you can buy/get from the bp and click on to appear over your avatar during the game. If there would be a selection that only clans can use, and a clan can only use one of them at a time... Would give the clan members a more "special" feeling to be in a clan to have something others don't. And it's not game changing big.
yes and no. If I made a custom group for every single country people are in, that would be many. It's more like a very tiny "note to myself" in Form of an emoji which could be in front of their names (like the favorite star).

Please improve current ranked skill point system. Not only calculated by team winning status, but also how you well you playing your role. eg:

med didn't revive n2 and get killed (minus), rev and say number (plus)
detective compared person to hh over and over again, minus.
Jailer/gunner/witch killing village (minus)
suicidal. give big minus person who did it, but recalculate the winning/defeat skill point.
Wrong lynching village (penalty goes on people who vote it, but didn't affect people who didn't vote)
Not counter claiming or claiming roles when round about to end. d3/d4/d5.
JW didn't tag, ww seer checked obvious person like aura/det, wws throwing early solo killer also considered minus
Solo killer kill wws early days considered minus. killing fool / hh too.

Current system ranked is too depends on winning/defeat status, and I thought it mostly depends on luck too how great ur fellow playing as a team.

Thrower everywhere. U got unlucky. Loss get -30 , -50. trapped in Bronze with throwers. Impossible to climb. It's done.

Anyway ranked 1 reward is so cheap. 15k gold. I can get that by trading one skin. or grinding gold 5 days.

@solemn gazelle heya 👋🏼 I understand your concern to have a more specific skill point calculation, however all of the things you mentioned are rather hard to program and scored automatically, without a person manually checking the game and calculating it. A lot of things could happen that isn't the player's fault since there are a lot of claims and counterclaims in ranked - which could be confusing and mistakes happen, plus there are a lot of strategies. I don't think the players should be punished for being misled by evil or having connectivity issue and unable to perform their ability. Thank you for your suggestion sect_love

The scoring system is being revised to make sure all the players are faily judged based on their skills, but I can tell you already that it is being tested thoroughly by experienced ranked players. if you are not the clan leader/co-leader, the “buy” option for clan quests should not be visible. this can lead to confusion for new players.
have an option to view only un-brought inventory items. useful for new players who want to know what gold/rose avatar items they can get that they did not yet purchase or for old players trying to find certain items (i had trouble finding the special halloween avatar items on sale)
i have two different phones logged in to the same account. when someone messages me, it sends it only to the phone that i was last online on. it should be changed so that when someone messages you, the message can be seen in all devices you have your wwo account on.

maybe spell “settings” out? it is a lot smaller compared to the rest and just smushed in the middle [image two]
in between the days left and xp bar, maybe have something telling you have many tiers you have left do in the BP to complete it. it is easier to calculate how much XP you need left.
there should be an option in-game where clan members can vote for their favorite quest (that is current displayed on the list). most clans have a private clan server to do that but it will be a lot more convenient if the feature is added in the game itself.
many players, including the OG players, do not know that you can create different sounds by tapping on (dead) players graves. i think that when you die for the first time, there should be a pop-up that reads something along the lines of “did you know you can create different sounds simply by tapping on a dead player? try tapping on one now!”
include a setting where players can change the time to as a 12-hour clock instead of the current 24-hour clock.

currently, there is only a tutorial on how to play seer. i understand that creating a tutorial for every role is nearly impossible, but there should at least be a tutorial on how to play werewolf. maybe even solo killer or voter.
11a. when you rise/drop to a new league, there should be a pop-up to inform you so you will not be caught off-guard by the new set-up
11b. once the game starts, there should be a message somewhere to tell you what league you are in currently. this is especially useful if you are the last player to join and you have no clue which league you are currently in.
12a. be able to "jump" up to the last unread message in clan chat (maybe dms too, but prob not necessary)
have a line in between clan chat that separates the last read message and the first unread message
be able to “star” paid outfits and receive a notification if it becomes a daily offer.
a countdown in BP in hours (similar to daily/special offers) on the last couple of days.

Hello. I have recently made a suggestion and maybe it was skipped. But I have talked with someone who probably knows the game better than me, so I'll change it. Basically I suggest either of these: 1. Put "random voting" in most role lists (including the quickplay one) so that no one knows initially whether there is a fool or a hh, making the game more balanced and skill-reliant for the two hardest roles. 2. OR combine the two roles in one, and let the player choose in the first night whether he is hh or fool, without the village knowing his choice.

Hello. I have a suggestion. Recently, I've been getting into games with countless "bandit teamers" if you know what I mean. I mean when all the ww die and bandits ask to convert everyone to win with them. I think that 3 acco should be the max number of acco a bandit should have in a non-teaming game. Therefore, I think that something should be implemented to detect the number of acco a bandit has in that game, and if the game detects that the number of acco is greater than 3, they should receive no xp at all.

Also, like the auto-ban suicide thing, if the number of acco in a game exceeds 6, it should auto-ban all the bandits for teaming.

Seems a tad harsh to ban for the amount of accos, cause what if there's a game where a ton of accomplices are getting caught by aura or seer and they're getting lynched each day while bandit keeps converting? I know it's rare, but it'd be unfair to ban someone in that situation. It's not like suicides where suicides are you actively leaving the game multiple times, which isn't a possibility of the game unless you have bad connection (which isn't a game mechanic).

The auto ban is a bit harsh tho, also wont work out cuz those games need checking (also the bandit aint the one teaming, the villagers "in charge" are probably not converted then and you'd ban a lot of innocent players which we do not aim for, also the accos that die before. Really unlucky bandits might create a legit 6 acco situation even in long games) Thanks for your feedback

we dont really know for sure...
Personally, I think at some point the game might become a bit too overwhelming and cluttered with all the different roles

On custom games a few requirements to create a balanced game for XP are max 2 village killing roles and max 3 role exclusion, which is weird since in ranked and quick games, there are 3 village killing roles and more then 3 excluded roles, I would like this to be to the same standard.

Nerf zombie:
We all know that zombie is very op. So I have an idea how to nerf zombies: The converted zombie can only see the zombie that converted them (like, if 5 converted 7, then 7 only knows that 5 is a zombie). If a zombie tries to convert another zombie, then these zombies die. I think it'd make zombies balanced.

4) it would improve the players experience in that direction that you could make little clan championships. Guess the number was just a small suggestion. You could say everybody pays a rose and the first one to win as bandit next wins them all. For example.
It would just be easier to gather the "bets" beforehand at one place instead of deciding that maybe 10+ people owe them one rose afterwards 😊

the thing is that I heard of many people who for example got banned for suicides months ago. And then it happened again - it still accumulated and the ban got longer. And next time - even if in months again - it would be even longer. (this is how I got the ban system described, correct me if I'm wrong) - and I think after some time it should just reset and not accumulate anymore.
Staying on the suicide topic: first time 10 minutes. And if nothing else happens in 3 months, and then they get a suicide ban again, it should start at 10 minutes again.

I didn't mean for 16 only invited people 😁 I usually don't get 16 of my clan into one game (shame on them), but that doesn't stop me from trying to get as many as possible. 😁 But I can see how that's something maybe not so important. For custom games I would still like to include the name in the notification at least tho

In custom games when the pre-lobby hits 16 players it auto-starts the game which means that if you wanted to spectate but you were the 16th person to join you would have to play so you should have an option which lets the game auto-start or let you manually start it when you are ready.

Hello, I wanted to talk about the yellow sign for the levels. The yellow background is really similar to the white font of the levels. For example I am level 220 right now and you can barely read the 220 because the white and yellow just morph into each other. Maybe the background colour could be changed to a darker orange or something like that where you can actually read the level. For instance, because of the contrast you can see the level really well when having this dark blue background. The yellow just doesn't seem to be the best :l

@runic dragon Hello 👋 I understand that the WWO bright pink color could be disturbing for people with sensitive eyes (I personally have the same issue), but for the moment you can try adjusting your display. There should be settings in your phone that allow you to have Comfort View or tuning down colors slightly. A dark UI has also been suggested, the devs will consider if it will be doable. There also have been some issues with the bot that doesn't allow it to receive guardian tickets (please see the times in #community-announcements posted by Lisa), you can try sending a new ticket if it's the case.

Make a go back button which will let us remove the change we made on our skin.
We should be able to buy death sounds, they would be bought with the gems and roses.
We should be able to put skin parts in favorites like we can do with friends and they would appear in their normal places but also in 'Favorite' which will be the last thing in inventory menu.
Custom death message. After dying there should be a random message or a message which we can create after buying it.
When we go to roles we will see classic and all, after clicking on all, roles which r in classic should have like little red mark so we can know it.
When Shadow wolf activates his ability, his votes should be trippled, but other wolfs votes should stay dubbled.
We should be able to sort friends like thr first friends will be from our clan and then others like who were online the last time.
If we had too much messages, we would be lazy to read them all and its kinda annoying to some of us when there is unanswered messages. I suggest that if we click twice on the messages icon or if we hold it, we should be able to clear our messages.

You should prioritize your couple above your original team. As part of a couple this is the order. Sect > couple > original team. Otherwise this is gamethrowing and reportable

Then the win condition doesnt change. It is already hard enough to win as werewolf, it shouldnt be any harder. This is also the same as in the classic werewolf game, where equal wws to villagers was enough for a win

They are still part of their original team, they dont transform into 2 lovers but get one thing extra, one extra thing to think about. Think about the sword from the forger. They dont become a new role due to the sword and just can use their original role. Its similar to that as an example

Sect > couple > original team yes. The change will only make people not liking it as much as they do now. A couple is something extra, that overrides the original win condition and priority, it isnt a full replacement of something or a role

With this, members that are inactive or those who haven't donated for the quests are kicked, or sometimes, blacklisted from the clan. Thus, I am suggesting an option for a leader or a co-leader to send notifications to members who have not yet donated for the quests or to those who are inactive.

The leader or co-leader must be able to edit the message of the notification. For example, "Hey, pls donate 500 for the quest or opt out (within 8 hours) or we will have to kick you." With this, those who haven't yet donated will be notified and will have a chance to donate or to opt out from the quest, which will result to them not being kicked from their clan.

Spectator: Med, 9 say 8 evil
9: No 7 evil
3: No 8 evil
Spectator: 8 evil

The scenario will confuse the medium even more.

Hey I have seen that if you show the time on your cell phone you can already buy the battlepass....
To prevent this I have two ideas:

unlock it globally only at one time, so that you can't buy it even if you are 10 days in the future. So that a lock is opened so to speak.
you could get it via update as long as there is an error where the Battlepass is where it says that you should update your version.

when you disconnected and opened the app again, the message box that allows you to rejoin pop up, but the message box is very easily to be accidentally dismissed by clicking out of the box

@halcyon wolf Well, the battle pass is usually used on the purpose. Any general belonging things there are not allowed regarding to the rules. It happens that people talk about their own BP especially when they end but it is not encourages to do this regarding the #rules-deprected. :)

For example, the november 24 issue of the Bleach Newspaper sparked controversies. The complete noun in this example is The November 24 issue of the Bleach newspaper. The determiner "the" is usually used before a noun. And the usage of the date in the battle pass description is not as a noun (the phrase battle pass season 15 is the noun). Thus, it is much more appropriate if the word "the" is removed before the date.

Why don't new ranked players join Bronze first? Like if it's your first 20-ish games in ranked, maybe you should be locked in bronze? It's pretty frustrating when you're playing in silver with players who just started playing, because you automatically join silver. If the new player gets carried in a couple of games, they might also get to gold pretty easily, which is both bad for the gold players, since the new player will be confused about a lot of stuff, and bad for the new player because the gold players will send a shit storm to the new player for every mistake they make :v I know that it's good for new players to learn from experienced players, but it would be good to have a sort of playground for new ranked players. I don't think the new players deserve to get shit talked for making a simple mistake, but I also dont think experienced players deserve to lose a ton of points because of other's mistakes. Please tell me if anything is unclear to you

How to dispute your WWO ban

Go to #bot-commands and do ?appeal <your ingame name> <yourxpcount> (That should look like ?appeal WerewolfPlayer 12345. Don't add the <>.)

If the bot answers 'Please check your ingame-name.', just check your wwo username (uppercase letters, numbers, dashes)

If the bot answers with 'Please check your XP count.', check if you took the correct numbers on your profile (try out ?h xp for more info!)

Suggestion: Killer’s Notes

When a Villager kills a player before Day 3, put a sign (example a bullet if gunner shot) next to the player that was killed for that Villager and let them add a note when they click the sign of why they killed that player anytime in the game.

This can be helpful if the Villager in question gets reported for Random Killing
as the Guardians should not ban a kill before Day 3 if there was a reasoning behind it.
As stated in rules, Random Killing is when a villager shoots without a valid reason

Basically, some tasks are given to the clan members. As they complete those tasks, the clan's bank will obtain some rewards.

Example of tasks:

"Play 250 games in 3 days"

-Give to the players the possibility to change the theme: home background and in-game backgrounds.(like the One for Halloween, Christmas etc)
-Users will be able to use themes made and gifted by wwo
-Buy themes at the price of gold, roses or gems.
-Obtain themes through daily rewards or Battle Passes.

Andd finally the possibility to create their own theme and share it for free with the whole community.

There would need to be a way to moderate the backgrounds made by the community and it should be difficult for Guardians to keep up with it, but I don’t know if it really would be like that, just guessing.

Overall, it’s a good idea and I would like to see it in the game — even though I think it could cause a visual pollution in the game with loads of different backgrounds, soo to solve that I would suggest that you buy and select a background, for example, and that one stays for everyone in the game [even if they have different ones (but I don’t know if it is possible to add this mechanism to the game)].

The option to create and share them yourself is new, but for that a designer can send it to a dev.
It's not something we would add ingame as an open submission system, and its not really relevant at the moment until a background update will be added.

Reports that are bad enough to report to a guardian:

Racism
Extreme sexual harassment or comments
Reporting whole clans (racist/ inappropriate names, descriptions, clan teaming etc)
Usernames, especially if they are in a language none of our guardians can speak (please provide a translation if you report this!)
Staff impersonation

=> If you experienced one or more of these incidents and reported the players ingame, you can go to #bot-commands, use ?report <your ingame name> <yourxpcount> (like ?report WerewolfPlayer 12345) to talk to a guardian. They will reply as soon as they are able to. Please be patient!

perhaps add some exclusive items for reaching every 10 (or 5, 15, 20, etc.) level. for example, clothes, glasses, backgrounds, etc. or a whole skin for every 10 (or 5, 15, 20, etc.) levels.

It would be cool if we could be notified if we had 12 reports but were not banned, just so that we know that we have a clean slate (if that's how the reports work, lol). I just had like 6 people report me from one game for random shooting (which I didn't) and it would be nice to know if I'm on a clean slate or not so I'm not constantly wondering if and/or when I'm gonna be banned.

Also, this can worry people a lot more if they get fake reported as you did, we dont want to give people anxiety because they got that notif where all reports were fake BunBunShrug altough i like the idea, i dont think it is something for this game, i dont think guardians would want to be as open about the reports either. Reports add up over time and will be checked onc you get 10+ reports. So maybe you got 3 grinf reports and one week later a rudeness report, then they will check all of them and ban accordingly

And once again, the ban duration is based on the amount of offenses. All rules are treated the same, no difference in being rude or spam or grid. The ban gets longer and longer, so thats where the difference comes from.

I would not use it as currency, just a little fun item. Although I would limit the number of fireworks/stones you can throw (like 3 per game or 1 per player). Some people could misuse it, especially if it would be currency that's why I wouldn't do it. Firework could just be a sign like "wow, you were doing a great job" and stones like "stop trolling, it's not funny".
I'd say you could do it throughout the whole game. I would not add a kick voting time. And don't show it in the chat. Just if one player got a certain amount of votes, like 10 or depending on the number of players who are still online, he will get kicked. If he doesn't reach the number nothing will happen or he will get warned.

Soo. This is something that i feel should be fixed, avenger and corrupter are last 2 alive, avenger has blade on cor, but cor has avenger glitched, and when you are glitched you lose your abilities, and no one can identify you. Yet why dose avenger ability still work, it's kinda dumb. And the result of that scenario is a tie game, when corrupter 100% deserves the win.

possibility to vote for the new roles every week in quick game (ingame or discord). For example: choose random killer, what werewolves and 1 or 2 random villagers (cupid, witch, marksman/gunner..).
I wouldn't let people vote for every role, just some specific. And let them choose between for example random killer: Arsionist or Serial Killer and next week it could be Bomber or Sect leader.
It's to prevent that there will be the same roles every week. It's an opportunity to include more roles from Sandbox too and an overview of which roles are preferred by the community.

I notice that the ban periods keep increasing progressively.
And I agree with this behaviour of increasing ban time. however here is a suggestion.

If the ban gets removed by a guardian after an appeal, do not count that ban next time when calculating the ban time.

There are several instances where players get banned because of very silly reasons. And after appealing the guardians simply remove the ban without asking any questions because they can see that the report were not genuine.

So if a player gets banned 5 times and 3 out of 5 bans were removed then consider the sixth ban as the third ban( 5 - 3 = 2) (2 + 1) and calculate ban period accordingly

The accuser has to collect at least 10 (or more) votes from other Clan Members to take away the Leaders position. If he can't collect 10 votes in 24 hours the leader will keep his position. If the accuser successes, he will get the leader position. Or add another vote for a new leader.

I was once in a clan with an inactive leader. Half of the Vice Leader were inactive too. It was terrible. And I know that other clans died too because of the same reason.

wouldnt this mess up the report system a bit? i understand the idea yes, but some might first result into actually kicking them instead of reporting them which will make the report system less valuable and feels like you can get away easier by throwing because people tend to rather kick then report. a click of a button is way easier then going to their profile, clicking on report, etc. I think this will only make the amount of rulebreakers worse since when they get kicked there is no way to report them let alone the fact that they will not get reported so they can get away with more and break more rules 🤔

8) New quick game setups are being suggested and tested to see if they are balanced enough for quick games. Regarding your suggestion, I feel like people might always go for a stronger role and potentially make the setup similar every time. However it could be an interesting suggestion, I will add that to the devs channel ^^
9) This really depends on the activity you are thinking of, but since grinding happens in game, it might encourage people to grind more for xp and claim these rewards. I don't think it's a good idea personally.

wouldnt this mess up the report system a bit? i understand the idea yes, but some might first result into actually kicking them instead of reporting them which will make the report system less valuable and feels like you can get away easier by throwing because people tend to rather kick then report. a click of a button is way easier then going to their profile, clicking on report, etc. I think this will only make the amount of rulebreakers worse since when they get kicked there is no way to report them let alone the fact that they will not get reported so they can get away with more and break more rules 🤔

This really depends on the activity you are thinking of, but since grinding happens in game, it might encourage people to grind more for xp and claim these rewards. I don't think it's a good idea personally.

You're right! I did not think of grinding, I'm sorry! However, I don't understand the whole grinding system. I know that some people use XP games to finish the battlepass, but I think there is more misuse than anything else. Grinding doesn't harm anyone, I know but it isn't useful too. Can I suggest to at least limit the number of XP Games (in custom game mode) you can play per day?
Or remove it as a whole but I think to limit it is the better option.

@coral ember Sandbox occasionally includes random killers, which gives chances to have Illusionist . Currently Bandit is still appearing more often because it's still a relatively new role, and bugs could happen, as sandbox is a place to test new role. I believe this would be changed eventually, but this is up to the developers.
For the moment, you can still play illusionist in a custom game and they should be able to be part of a balanced setup with XP. New modes have been suggested before, the devs will consider it if possible. Thank you for the suggestion : )

when we get a new Item we should also get a yellow dot on the category because sometimes it's hard so find what you got.

etc... Because its nice to know who everyone is and if they're afk could put the sign next to their name so we know who we can message for a problem. The list could be in FAQ or have its own channel.

I opened a ticket a week ago for someone that kept harassing me ig, i sent ss and proof and guardians said they will look into this matter that truly made me uncomfortable . I opened a ticket again to ask what happened to my reports because its my full right to be and feel safe in the game. It's been 3 days now since i opened the second ticket and I still didn't receive any answer? I keep hearing some people are getting banned for irrelevant reasons, for simple mistakes or for some strats they follow playing ranked, while the people who REALLY need to be banned for being super toxic and disrespectful are out there playing freely? So my feedback / question here is what the guardians are really doing? Why they don't answer? And why they don't assume their responsibilities and do the work they applied for? It takes 10 mins to answer someone you know? I hope I get an answer for this because the game started to be so annoying with this banning system which is unfair to some people while the ones who need to be banned keep always playing like they did nothing.

In shop, where you can buy a limited random outfit, you should add to choose if u want a male or female skin. Most skins have 2 skins included (male andfemale) , but there are some older skins, where you get just one skin, male or female you can get as well.
It happened to me, that I got one of this singke skins, it was a male skin. It's not hate against the designer, the skin isn't ugly. But I personally don't use male skins. I don't really use it, and I was sad because it was a waste of money for me.
I don't buy random skins anymore because of that.

So I suggest to let us choose between male/female/or both if you don't care ^-^

If they said that they will look into your report, they did or will but even if the player you reported is banned they won't share such information as it is private. Now that you opened a second ticket you can explain your situation if you haven't yet and wait patiently for an answer. SuoH

@forest steppe As mentioned in the message above, Guardians are busy people and there are more players open a ticket to discuss their ban or report a player (50 players at the moment), it takes time to answer to every user so yes, it may take a while. Once opened the ticket, if you haven't yet, you can explain in GuardianMail's Dms why your ban was unfair and make sure that your ticket wasn't closed.

The current system seems a bit off for punishment on bans. I feel that the cumulative nature encompassing any and all reports a bit harsh. My suggestion is instead of making every infraction count toward a singular number of reports for a person, each type of infraction should have its own report counter.

For example: under the current system if I am reported for rudeness 4 times, Gamethrowing 2 times, and say random killing in 6 games. As long as the Guardians find them all to be reasonable reports; I would get banned.

What I am suggesting however, would be that I would have to hit a lesser number of a singular type of infraction to be banned. Ie. Gamethrowing 5 times. But then that ban would be a separate punishment than if I were to accumulate 5 reports from say rudeness.

If you start in a round one and randomly meet a friend, you get the complete friend XP as if you had invited him. You are playing with a friend.

@mental knoll heya sorry for the late reply! I think you can easily use the personal message-section for writing a nickname already ^^ Being able to ping this name ingame would not be something a lot of people will use, maybe only your friends?
You should be reading the whole chat anyway so you should notice your name in there pretty easily, the player numbers are something different, much harder to notice quickly.
Plus it would be yet another writing space, where people can put inappropriate things, and that needs to be checked by guardians etc... I dont wanna imagine some trollers tagging eachother all game with inappropriate nicknames 😰

@quaint bramble While I have no complaints for the ban system, I have seen other games do it in a slightly different way. Every subsequent ban for the same type of offense builds on previous infractions. So gamethrowing has a different counter than rudeness and such
@digital summit I think in wwo it's not so easy to do that, since the required 10+ reports could already be a mixed bag of offenses. A lot of stuff goes hand-in-hand; random killing/gamethrowing is an obvious example.
Or people who rudely (hate speech) defend a zombie teaming (gamethrow) and so on.
It would just add an unnecesary task to the guardian's workload if they have to decide which offense was the most prominent etc.
And each and every ban message already states 'follow the rules'. Getting banned is a good moment to take the time and properly read through all of them and starting to follow them (whenever common sense apparently isnt enough)

There is a limit of 5 suicides in 6 hours of playing, the people who do it over and over just becaus they dont want to be ww etc will get banned automatically if they hit this limit.

It's a random skin, and you can see before you buy that there is a chance of getting a 1-gender outfit, even though there is very very few of these left. There might be a rework in the future, which means you get a free 2nd version of it ^^
My first random offer was a 3 item male outfit, i never used until it got a rework. yes I was a little disappointed, but again you buy it knowing very well there is a chance of getting something you wont like/use at all.

@shrewd nebula heya, I think the couple is already a pretty powerful team in a lot of cases.
There is no point in making cupid visible to them as well... most of the cupids already announce 'gl couple' at the start of the game. It should be a choice to not do that and play cupid differently as well.

Im afraid this would require a serious overhaul of the current system and lead to more work for the guardians as well... If you want to discuss this ith someone though, you should contact @mighty birch the guardian manager, to hear a more practical opinion on this.

@steady hawk Heya, gaps appearing between clothes and the avatar is a known bug. There isnt an easy instant fix for this, all clothing with this problem needs to be manually readjusted. it's on the to-do lis but will be taking a while.

@tranquil fossil heya, snippets were removed from the game for a lot of players. This is currently a test as many people did not like the way they were used to prove good roles etc, and it ruins the part of the game about strategy and lies.

Either accept that you went too far and dont be rude again, or make a ticket and give them a chance.

Sometimes in sandbox it shows rv instead of fool or hh. If you are fool or hh the role description or something else should let you know if you show as rv to others. It can help with your strategy some. Asking if it shows rv in the role list gives away that you're the fool or hh

@craggy shadow Usually if you are the random role, you will know this in Sandbox. You are the random voting role, so no one else is it. However you usually have some indicators that you are the role when they talk or act in the game. Although this has been suggestef before. Thank you for your suggestion ❤️

How to dispute your WWO ban

Go to #bot-commands and do ?appeal <your ingame name> <yourxpcount> (That should look like ?appeal WerewolfPlayer 12345. Don't add the <>.)

If the bot answers 'Please check your ingame-name.', just check your wwo username (uppercase letters, numbers, dashes)

If the bot answers with 'Please check your XP count.', check if you took the correct numbers on your profile (try out ?h xp for more info!)

Once the ticket is open, you will receive a direct message from the bot, please specify your language and your problem so that a guardian speaking the same language as you can come and help you quickly.
Please be patient, the guardians will reply as soon as they are able to, if it comes to discussions do not be rude or your ban will not be taken away.

Adding new features is up to the developers, the might have other priorities than adding a trade system. Also a reason for not adding such system might be that it can easily be abused by creating multiple accounts

I've been talking about the arguments "Grind Lobbies" and "Custom Games's Xp Farms" in a long discussion with staff members in #questions. Nowaday, there's not a definitive answer to those problems, but we can assume that those things are not allowed but "tolerated". In other words, I think that this means: "if you do them, it's fine, if you don't do them, it's better". So I am here to suggest a possible solution to end this sort of doubt.

Should we ban the possibility to create/join and play a grind lobby and an xp farm, or is it better to "tolerate" both of them?

And, separately, another big question is: "is it needed to force ppl follow our rules in their custom games? Why not able them to make their own rules in their games?".

Maybe a system that your snippets will automatically change to the language you are playing in, or a button you can change it. Because now your phone language decides it and it’s annoying to have other language snippets in like sandbox
