@spiral rampart Hello, absolutely not! This would be counted as guardian abuse if they removes valid bans because it is their "friend." So no need to worry!
However, you can report the player to another guardian if they state such things, i recommend doing so

@sharp storm Grinding is against the rules. You can report any grinding you see to the guardians. The devs have put a measure however to stop grinding in the usual fashion or zombie farms by reducing experience

@sonic phoenix as far as I know you can't shoot your couple as it is rn. Someone I know tested jailing their couple and the bullet option is greyed out. As well as the bullet not appearing over your couple, and Marksmans mark being removed when coupled. Thank you for your feedback though!

Especially when it clicks while the sound of a role’s ability also occurs at the same time when pressing on it. Was there a reason to add this clicking sound? I’d like to disable it, but then it disables every other sound in the game too.

I just noticed it immediately and feel that it is really unnecessary and rather annoying. Don’t know how others feel about it, but that’s just my opinion.

Hello everyone, I don't know if this has already been proposed but here is my idea for the game: I am an 19 years old french player ( so sorry for my english) and I wanted to send you an idea I had today.
During my ( short ) experience in the game, I could see some comportements that are clearly inapropriated : some players are really disrespectfull with the others, they insult, criticize... ( I think you are already informed) which is really dangerous considering that some players are really young or sensitive.
I know that sometimes it's hard to keep calm (sometimes I am really angry too) but the insults are really unacceptable.
So my idea is that you could choose some players to turn them into a sort of moderator : they are random players, they play with the others but they are able to ban ( but it needs a verification of course ) quickly.
The people that are ban can be ban for example during one day, next time one week, etc
I don't know if this is possible but I am at least trying, and I hope you can give me your opinion about this

I suggest having matchmaking preferences instead of lockin' em up completely. For example, one day you may want to play with low level players, and at the next, with people with more level (this would be hard to implement in ranked)

suggestion: since it appears that the guardians are not always neutral and some profiles that should have been banned for a long time are still active: the devs should hire neutral guardians who are not themselves involved in the game. there are clear rules in the game that can also be explained to a stranger so that they can differentiate between good and bad actions

Clans need other ranks like co-leader. It would be great if there was the veteran, donor and hero. These ranks would be set by the leader and they would have no option to do more than cosmetic use and for people to be motivated to do a lot of xp on missions or donate more than anyone. Also the option of being able to vote for the mission. A room within the clan where when it has been decided whether to update or not to be able to carry out a small vote in which the leader puts the time and everyone can contribute their vote. The donor and hero tangoas could be worth 2 as if they were a mayor. What do you think?

@runic dragon sometimes you will get a notification for when someone you reported was banned, so this should answer your problem! They don't always send a notification, because some people would get alot of notifications.

I don’t know if this was already suggested or not. But it would be nice if, when you party with friends, the one that created the party can choose to play again with everyone in the party being automatically pulled out. Right now when party leader chooses play again (at the end of a game) it drops all others players and you need to send invites all over again. Just streamlines gameplay with friends a little more.

@jade pike Removing snippets from ranked has been suggested before. I'm not sure what you mean by different language? You always have to use the same language as the game is in. You can report people who don't. You can also create your own snippets in settings if you want too. Thanks for the feedback

@cunning burrow This has been suggested before and declined. The reason is to prevent automatic gold farm accounts. Players would quickly find a way to use bots to keep getting gold via the ad wheel and afterwards sell that gold to others.
@proven bay I don't think that outfit needs a change right now. The coach has been the same and is a bit of an original character from the tutorial. Thanks for the idea though

It would be nice if we could still see the role we were before being converted. I got converted to acc and couldn’t remember what role I was. Turns out that I was jailer. But, since I was jailer, it had been taken out of the list, so I didn’t even know jailer was in game. It screwed me up tbh.

@lavish flax It's hard to find a way that suits for everyone. Arranging them alphabetically is the most logical way to do. Being able to arrange your friends how you like is not really possible I'm afraid as that would require huge reworks of the friends list. You can however unstar some of your friends to have only some of them displayed on top

@runic dragon You need to write a message so the guardian knows what happened and to reduce work for them. If you write nothing, they have to search the entire game for what happened, whilst if you write shot random day 2 e.g. They can handle the report quicker.

Hey, can I suggest making fc being able to be hh target? The actual meta as fc is not protecting yourself when you are voted off, because you are a scapegoat. Plus, the fc can always be framed as gww as hh if it protected itself, just that the game takes longer.
It is in my opinion something inappropriate right now that fc can't be hh target. It is not a self-provable villager and can always be mislynched. The meta confirms every scapegoat dead is good for the village, as it reduces the claimspace for the evils.

I also thought of this from the ww perspective: the hh has target on the fc, the ww know it's obvious. They let the fc protect itself (even push 'protect yourself!') then kill the hh at night so he can't win and successfully mislynch the fc next day.
It has so much flexibility like this

Look obviously I'm just a humble player but just seemed like a "hey you're as good as this ww but too bad you lose" kind of thing. If you feel the idea is silly or unwarranted so be it was just a thought for the future.

Well there is no second place in a game like werewolf online so I honestly don't see a need for it the game is skill but at the same time some things just require luck. If you get a teammate that's not the best wolf but an awesome villager then that's how that happens. Thanks for the suggestion anyways

My clan bought the owl quest of last week a bit late, and the owl items aren't in the inventory anymore... sometimes we might want to go in preview mode and see if those items match with out avatar

I don't understand the whole random kill thing. If the village accidentally kills a good role then it's ok. Just a mistake. But if the gunner accidently kills a good role everyone starts screaming "report!"
If all info givers are dead (aura, det, etc) then there is no choice but to random kill.
We had an aura who gave info day 1. Day 2 he gave no info. Day 3 he said he checked the person who died that night. So some of us were suspicious of him. As gunner, I shot him and people started saying to report. So if he had happened to be a ww who was faking, all would be good.
What gives?
I think the ranfom kill rule needs to be more clearly defined.

@rocky vector Random killing occur when you random kill without asking any opinion from anyone. If you're gunner, you just shoot someone for no reason without anyone asking. That's random killing. And when village accidently lynch good people. It's the whole village's opinion so it isn't kind of random. Try asking the village before randomly shoot so they don't just scream "report!" as they just agreed. In this case you can actually appeal if you're banned since you didn't just random, but you have the village's agreement.

Lootboxes are boring, and not loved by all player atm. So i think either increase the legendary and epic item drop rates, or increase the gold + rose drop rates and the amount of gold and roses.

@plain spoke I think lootboxes are fine as they are atm. They give some gold/Roses and sometimes a skin part you don't have. They may not be that great for experienced playerd, but for newer players they're quite welcoming to build up their inventory.

If only frenzy kills during the night, werewolves appear as blue to Spirit Seer. Shouldnt they appear red? For example Werewolves attacked a bodyguard with shield, but Werewolves activated frenzy, so Bodyguard dies to frenzy.... werewolves should still appear red, no?

@autumn dragon suiciding already has auto bans if they do it 4-5 times in 6 hours, if they suicide every time they are ww they will still hit that amount pretty easily. And on top of that indeed you can manually report them as well, but it's not recommend to do that unless it is ranked
And believe me, there is villagers too who report suiciding ww's ^^

it does work, but you can only report once per game, spamming it doesnt help. They need 10 reports; different players, different games. It will get checked dont worry. And that screenshot had some very bad language in it so i had to delete it anyway.

Uh, maybe a GOOD filter? The current one can’t detect bad language if you use a single space which in my opinion renders the current filter near-useless, except for when people don’t attempt to bypass, which is less than 40% of the time. It’s easy to swear if you change a letter or make a space, and yes, you can report them but... considering you need 10 people to do so that’s tricky, especially when in Dead Chat. You usually can’t convince that many people to report a single person. I think it would be at least a little better to have a filter which can detect when someone is attempting to bypass, so putting a space in the f word would get it filtered. It’s not hard to have a bot see that the spaced out f word is still the f word, right? Just by seeing the letters in that order should be enough to get it filtered, even if spaced. Obviously with the letter thing that’s a little harder. But in the obvious occasions, a good filter should be able to tell. Especially when changing ck into cc, for example.

In my 400 games that i've played between QP and Sandbox, i've found a seriously ridiculous high rate of games being thrown by players who just don't get their way or want to allow everyone to win by their own rules. Not only this but there is a lot of profanity and hate that comes from a high volume of players. I find myself reporting probably 20+ reports a day for various reasons. My most recent is someone throwing a game so the rest of the living players can win as sect members. 8 Players left in the game the 4th being the latest sect revealed who the sect leader was and now for the next 5 minutes or so we sit waiting for the game to end as every night they all convert. How serious are the reports being taken into account is really my question.

That or they have backups.

I think a Global Quest Sistem should be added to the game!
What are global quests?
They are tiers that when unlocked give you a reward, but they can be achived all together. All the players ' exp counts so.
How will it work?
Every 3 days there is a global tier to reach by collecting exp or wins with all the other players. It works pretty similiar to the clan quests but it's free and takes longer to collect the complete outift.
Other information!
It shouldn't be avaible for everybody, maybe there is a minimun level to join the global quest, like 30 or 25.
The global quests ' outifts aren't exclusive and can be avaible in Clan Quest (1 month later). However some items can be exclusive.
A global votation can be added to choose which outift will be collected.
How can this be used?
I may see cool to add little front items, as example, that can be unlocked with 1milion exp to celebrate Battle Pass or Wwo B-Day or Halloween etc...
Full outifts can be unlocked too!

I wanna suggest a buff for serial killer. Even if it was suggested before.
Serial killer should be able to pierce protection, but only after failing a kill. After failing a kill, he will go in "Rage". Since he did not satisfied his blood thirst, he will be able to pierce protection. In addition, if the player is protected, the protector will be wounded. (Tg won't see the role of sk, like if sk was in a frenzy).

Even people can fake snippet to counter it. It still ruins the purpose of the game. Players need to say other stuff to convince the village that they are good other than just claiming roles by snippet. People are just faking or spamming snippet to prove that they are real. It solely skipped the progress of reasoning and neglects the progress of setting a trap for manipulation.
Call the game FSO (Fake Snippet Online) instead of WWO
People who don't want to type any word should never play WWO cuz you gotta speak a lot in game.

If the idea is denied a other one with the intention to make it fairer for players, who don't boost.
If boost game could be tracked, normal games could be tracked as well. And this wax, there could be a XP Bonus for normal games. So Non-boosting-players don't have a disadvantage anymore (that they earn because of the bonus nearly as much XP as when they boost).

Dear all staff, can you limit the player's level in each game? for example, in the rank of the game only those who have at least level 40 and in the sandbox at least level 20/30? I also think this might seem unfair, but we often find a lot of new players messing around in the game and making the game no longer fun

@neon tusk This has been suggested before and declined. For ranked there is currently a poll in #dev-vote to increase the amount of wins players need to enter the game.
One of the reasons it was declined for sandbox is that the mode is used for testing and feedback about new roles and we need the suggestions from both newer players and older player.

What is really being into consideration in attempt to keep a stable gaming community? @flint atlas I report well over 20 or more people a day, from what I was told yesterday, reports don't even take an effective ban on a player until they rack up at least 13 reports. Then if they get banned, they simply create a new account and do it all over it. This is something that I came across in another game a couple days ago. The kid was so rude and obnoxious and said go ahead report me, i've been banned before, i'll just create another account. Not enough is being done to keep the negative players from causing a bad experience for the players actually wanting to play the game.

I suggested keeping players with similar suicide rates together. High suicide usually means they are quitters/gamethrowers. They get a role they don't like, suicide. That apparently was suggested already and denied. The only thing that could really be done in situations such as this is to implement a system that tracks an individuals activity based on finishing games and not giving up just to give up.
Another issue I have found playing in sandbox as I mentioned previously is the random killer roles. Roles such as Bandit, Zombie, Sect Leader that recruit for roles, players will literally bribe other players or game throw to be converted so all the remaining players win.
There are so many flaws in the game that could use improvement so that you have a more active player base. Right now I can see why there is a low activity base of players throughout the day.

@flint atlas From a previous policy I used for a website that was primarily children, we generally had a three strike rule. If the amount is truly 13, that is quite a lot.
There should he consequences for ill behavior. I similarly report upwards of 7-10 people a day, generally for racism or just being plain naughty.
I understand wanting to keep the game populated, but more severe punishments should be given out for players who break the rules. You could have a ladder for the different issues as racism and hate speech is probably more important than emoji throwing.
While it isn't the job of anyone here to "parent" the kids, they should be shown that behavior that is toxic and cruel isn't tolerated or welcome. I think you'll find a better gaming environment for everyone else, and a happier community with them knowing that the person who called them the "n" word repetitively, or told them to off themselves won't be back for quite some time.

@dreamy basalt the current rule is 12 reports before a guardian takes a loot at it. This in in place to reduce the workload for the guardians and to prevent fake reports. After that the guardians will decide if the player needs to be banned and for how long. Bans get longer every time players misbehave

@flint atlas I do understand the workload is likely tremendous for the amount of guardians versus player base -- however I think you would find (or at least in my experience) that there will actually be less work for the guardians if the punishments are harsher.
I'm not sure what coding is entailed, but I think if it were possible -- perhaps make the reports a different level of severity to grab the guardians attention. IP banning could also be looked into, to prevent players from making new accounts.
I find that people misbehave because they know they can. I've stated to people that they were being reported, and they simply laughed because they weren't being punished.

Ip banning has been suggested before but is tricky due to privacy limitations.

However it’s a little embarrassing when I have invisible mode while playing a game and still being displayed with the “popcorn” icon (spectate feature).
