I don't know how much the game is making ofc, but I do want to point out that there are costs to maintaining a game too

Google/Apple takes a 30% cut of all the in-app purchases, and apple charges an annual fee for developers to keep their app on the store.
The game also does use other services/servers to keep their game running, which also come at a cost.
Then there's also the manpower costs, salaries to pay for people that work on this game full time/part time. Designers cost money, devs I'm sure cost money, I'm not sure about mentors/guardians/helpers/mods so I can't comment on those.

Look, if it's about using an external image from a game, it's obvious some people are going to use inappropriate images. While there are always positives, there will always be negatives. They should have implemented some kind of verification process where a moderator checks that the image is okay before it's publicly visible.

This would have been good for customizing profiles. In fact, I spent points just for that.
