There's my opinion on this role in #dev-vote who's interested:

I would rate this role 5/10. I like the originality of this role, how Transfusionist name and its abilities fits perfectly to protection and kill mechanics. But the real downside of this role is its bad balance.
You see, on the day 1 you almost always get at least one confirmed villager because of info roles claims and their info.
So this role can easily protect infinite times if they want with only the debuff of not being able to protect twice in a row, but when you can't protect or if you want to play other way - this role can just check people safely (when donor is confirmed good and recipient is unconfirmed player) and if they end up becoming evil they will just die immediately.
So since you almost always gonna have some confirmed villagers to use abilities with, the downsides of this role are not enough to balance it.
In the end, we get an overpowered role that can protect, kill and check.
