Can you briefly summarize what is the general use-case of this? I'll pin this later for a deeper lookthrough sometime this weekend
It's a subsect of player retention. And this keeping in mind that impacted players extends beyond the muted players themselves.
In other words the question is 'how does one effectively protect a community without potentially foregoing players unnecessarily.
(And to be clear, the key word there is unnecessarily - there will be cases where a player and their directly linked other players lost is a worthwhile sacrifice)
I see. Weren't there already plans to make these changes?
Or is the main consensus that nothing has been changed yet and it's being brought up again?

It's fine, I already got the jist of it, thanks to PathForger. You would prefer a better solution to people saying inappropriate things in DMs, like a filter list, as opposed to outright disallowing DMs when a mute is active.
