In the Social Hub, chat is local and greatly limits those who see messages. It’d be nice for those looking to party up for Squads or Duos without friends available, to have a shout/megaphone option to seek out party members within the same server. This will give those with unfamiliar party members more time to discuss strategies/goals/etc before entering the short waiting room for the match. Also, some players enjoy coordinating skins and outfits for these matches, and this would make it easier for them to accomplish.
Having an option to shout server wide at any time without limit could be disruptive and make chat move too quickly for everyone, so keeping it as a purchasable consumable for Carl’s Cart with a daily limit would be a good middle ground. This also gives those millionaires something else to spend their coins on that’s not just additional cosmetics.
