When you play through the main quest line in Super Animal Royale you eventually get told to infiltrate the rebel base where when you arrive you find it surrounded by SAW security forces. Talking to the officers surrounding the cave they tell you that they are not allowed to do anything unless they do which leads to my theory that SAW keeps the rebels alive purely for the broadcasted entertainment which the humans watch which is the only thing that stops the island getting destroyed.

The dart gun hints at the survival of the fox (forgot his name) but my question is if he was a rat how did SAW security not get on scene faster and initiate evacuation
It's a void of guesswork for now

And the finch is the real rebel
Another thing is that all non rebels after the off script verse of the super show song are terminated or if we are saying it's with the dart gun incapacitated
My final say is that the incapacitated animals may be in that trapdoor under the stage that Joe cluck gets stuck in
