#Add parrying to melee

Other melee users, it'd be helpful if it could help block common pistol damage, since new players could adjust alot easier, as parry is more common within modern videogames,
bullets higher than common could be absorbed with 25% taken from the damage the gun would normally, but idk how that wouldn't make it too overpowered
Hitting frag grenades with melee to get them further from yourself would be a good utility use too
you wouldn't be able to parry your own items like in ultrakill, just fling them back, and i feel like it'd be fair throwables don't count as something to parry
Not all the throwables, just the frag grenades, and only after they hit the ground. They even have a small delay before the explosion, perfect for a chance to take less damage
maybe bananas that'd be funny to fling back lol
That would only make bananas an even rarer sight to behold
Besides, there's already a power-up that lets you get rid of them
Not to mention that you can use hamster ball and emus to ignore them too
I love the idea of being able to parry melee damage, so I will give your idea a ✅ , but I will not agree to extending it to parrying bullets.
yea maybe less of a parry and more of a block with an added deflect towards certain throwables, i might need to redo this post at a later date
Nah, there is already a block with armor ticks and deflecting throwables is a whole 'nother argument than parrying melee.

Can you undelete your post? The idea of parrying melee is still something I would upvote. Would make melee more fun as I could clash swords with other players.
it's nothing to feel bad about, i'll eventually remake it with a better idea of what i'm thinkin' up! originally I did it way too fast and I honestly don't think I even considered my own words lol
