#Allow trusted members to test future updates

It would be beneficial to grant trusted members, such as Animal Army, Content Creators, Super Artists and mods, early access to upcoming updates. This would help in two ways:

  • They could help identify and report bugs before the public release.
  • Content Creators and Super Artists would have the opportunity to prepare content and build excitement around new features.

To ensure confidentiality, participants could sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). Breaching the NDA would result in the loss of their role and access privileges. (@late sage's idea).

Allow trusted members to test future updates

involving the community in things is a great idea

#

i think details would get leaked if group is too big

#

so small trusted group

There are already dedicated beta testers for the upcoming game updates

and looking back at the original post i especially think active CCs in good standing and especially in-game mods should have the feature

#

because CCs being able to prepare around new features sounds really cool as long as they dont leak anything beforehand

#

and mods knowing what's coming out can avoid confusion for certain mechanics (plus mods are ideally the most trusted part of the community)

#

of course if this happens its up to pixile, but i think super artists and animal army could be trusted too, i just think having too large of a group would certainly lead to leaks and i dont want that for pixiles or for my sake

i do think also its up to Pixile to decide how and who they test things with.

We do already have multiple types of testing and testers in place to help us flesh out some newer and bigger features kaityTHUMBSUP
