There should be an option in settings, where if you block a person, you cannot join in the same server as them, this could be really helpful to not run into ppl who were toxic to you!

With how small the community is I think an outright block is too much. A block to prevent queueing would suffice

Yeah there'd be a lot of issues with flat out making it impossible to connect to a server someone's in/forcing someone to connect to a different server. The queue system is not built for that, and considering the small playersize, this could drastically increase queue times and be prone to abuse from bad actors blocking everyone to make life hard for others.
A better way to implement something like this (on top of the soft-block feature, which I think is a great suggestion) is to simply make it so that you can block players, which makes them invisible in the pre-game lobby and makes you invisible to them in the pre-game lobby. It could also make it so that emotes used by the player don't show up both in-lobby and during the match itself, alongside automatically muting them of course.

I think it's pretty hard to do that when they're targeting, following you, inappropriate things in chat, inappropriate things in general, and you just can't seem to get rid of them. believe me, I tried, but yeah maybe something other then this suggestion will work, since it can complicate stuff

idk if there's a way to do this on console (probably is) but pressing F5 whilst aiming at a player lets you mute them so you don't see their chat messages on PC
it's not a complete solution which is why something more would be nice, but at least it's something that you can do right now
