#A better shooting range

(I'm more than open to discussion on how to improve this idea, it was just something I came up with quickly)
i like this idea! the current shooting range is a cool landmark but it's actually pretty bad for practice, the very specific closed space is very unrealistic compared to most scenarios you find yourself in sar
plus, even though you can damage other players, you can't track your total damage or anything so it feels useless
I very much agree on a shooting range overhaul. Personally the way I've done it before when practicing is to use a random player in the shooting range already and just keep shooting them.
In fact I would go even further and say an entire practice mode on the map is better. Or at least part of it where you can practice the weapons against bots. It might not be the same as against players, but the availability of space and different types of environments and entities which can move and shoot back at the very least can be very useful in learning weapons and situations to use them in
I can't tell if that's sarcasm
The bots would still be visible, just stylized like in the photo
Gameplay would still be normal
please keep feedback constructive and civil, no need to use harsh words
Have you considered Thomas worked on creating bots as shooting range targets?
Because someone asked for it?
Thomas is a silly guy
ah I forgot about thomas
Or doesn't have to be holographic enemies per say. It could be some other idea
I'm not too knowledgeable in the lore 💔
Something that gives you some target with AI that can help practice shooting
Honestly you can kinda shoot st friends in the shooting range to try to figure stuff out but the issue there is its limited to exactly in the shooting range. There's no real say open area fighting practice you can do
This would be neat if it happened
Thomas would totally create animatronics that look like his coworkers to shoot
lore would be a cool addition but isn't completely mandatory, i don't think there is lore for every single aspect of the game
Ya
But you know there’s SOME people who hate on things if they don’t fit in with the lore
Lore addition is fairly easy to incorporate. It seems like a very Thomas thing to make something to test his creations on
Your time at the target practice is a dream sequence
Before you wake up to the reality that is civil war
Otherwise you cannot explain how you are shooting fellow animals but they do not seem to get hurt or die
Or the fact that you have to travel with the bird plane again to the island despite that you were already there?
And that makes sense cause your character has to relive the moments and the situations S.A.W put them through
And reflect on their mistakes
if thomas makes robots its gonna be the next zombie joe Invasion but with robots and this time they carry guns
trust me there is
then explain me how you can speak with dogna in your dream were she tells you about the first skull cat and the things happend on the iland also how do you dream about the fanart in the smova or however its called in dreams you cant see art it would be blurred. also you get cloned under the iland you are on the welcome center wait till the giant eagle is ready to fly you over the iland so you theory is not possible of existing
then explain me how you can speak with dogna in your dream were she tells you about the first skull cat and the things happend on the iland
you just remember what dogna told you previously before you started sleeping, why would dogna be outside her workplace in the middle of animals that could assasinate her at any moment (if not with guns then emus or hamsterballs)?
how do you dream about the fanart in the smova or however its called in dreams
"fan art" and "canon" is not something that works in the same sentence, otherwise i can assume that Isca himself is part of the lore? you can assume that your character is imagining any art that's in there and also dreams do not automatically make things blurred out, i had dreams with clear details before
the dream theory also explains how your gun magically disappears
when you leave the shooting range
or why when you take a gun from there it doesn't run out...ever
it does you have to take a new one
and this has to do nothing with the lore theiy are there just to make new players try out the weapons
if it doesn't have anything to do with lore, then why are you suggesting that lore should be taken in account when implement this suggestion?
there will always be people who are hypercritical on whether every addition to the game has to be lore based
this was just a silly little idea I came up with in my head, I wouldn't say it's that serious
i meant, when you take one, the gallery does not run out of weapons
just remember to offer proper critique in the feedback forum
saying "this idea sucks actually" with no additional information isn't critique
(this goes for everyone)
