Iel burst is basically continuum spam

I don’t follow the skill wheel of cycling as I have my considerations

i think people need to grasp the concept that iel's burst involves

1. continuum spam while bunder buff cycles (ds4, ls4 any other buffs etc)
2. understanding what gives you charges (you need 6 charges to use continuum)
3. cycling the charges to keep continuum up

However, since the release on Lynn & now Iel, bots are flooding AF130, so it is probably inevitable that meso rate will be nerfed.

Can. You just need to learn the boss mechanics and get PHY DMG, Crit Rate and BA (3 buffs) from cooking with tangyoon. If it isn’t enough, the item burning for weapon should also give some food buffs.

Alot of why your all dying in AF maps is probably due to using unique armors. My friend uses iel in AF maps with mythics and still dies. IEL is not tanky and probably better suited for AF maps when you have ancient gear aka CRA is a great start.

I struggled in AF maps on my iel until i got full cra gear on it now it just eats those maps.

1. wrong command on/off for presets. (this one is really up to you for some skills, but more impt you need to know why and what this does)

2. putting skills in pet buff (specifically velos and splinter)

3. spamming skills without knowing what it does. iel's burst is heavily dependent on spaming continuum. gotta understand how the charges work, then maximize the earning of charges

In my experience compare to my paladin with the similar CP and similar at power, no. You use both of your I frame for burst. The class burst is also significantly weaker than paladin. I doubt the IEL have better over all dps in 10 min than paladin as well since paladin burst hit significantly harder that makes up the difference for off burst time. If anything the class does feel like a top tier meso farmer, would be more op if she have a forward dash.

One good way to find out what works.

Is to go to the fog forest where you can test dmg.

Then see the breakdown of which v skill gives the most dmg.

Or alternatively. If you plan to play the long game.

Keep the exp nodes for decent skill nodes and Will node. And just let the regular opening of nodestones gradually max out your v and c skills

I max continuum first then splinter then prismatic. Continuum is like the core farming and bossing skill. Just spam whenever gauge is full

Splinter is like a burst for IEL on first tap. Second tap provides iframe for 10 sec.

Prismatic is also another burst whenever 3 charges are up

It's not so straight forward. Different strategies are employed based on what you need/want. there is no one sized fits all.

if you want to equip your alts to farm elite dungeon for legend powders? getting links to boost CP is beneficial.

if you want prowess for bossing. Would you be buying slots or just using whatever comes free? The choice changes between both options. But generally getting as much FD as possible. Then do you need more HP for ark/lotus/damien creep in? it all differs eventually.

You have 15 slots of link skills. Ideally you use all 15. If you "stack" skills, you use fewer link skill slots, but you use the same amount of character slots.

So it really depends on what you are looking for.

So we gonna take this up a notch. There’s another tier of souls.

Crit dmg is the usual for bossing gears at your stage - an early stage. Some use exp souls on a separate set of meant just for leveling

It’s easy because you can “choose” which souls you want to put in

But as you progress later in the game (like much later. Don’t worry about it now)

There’s a type of soul called a “magnificent soul” or mag souls for short. (So a magnificent Magnus soul is typically called a Mag Mag soul)

These are the souls that veteran to end game players go for.

Mag souls gives a random stat out of a list. Extremely costly rng battle. But it is still coveted. Can you make a guess why

Look at the list and make an intellectual guess why people will use/want mag souls.

You want to refine your weapon after you exalt it to 40 from the event stones. Upon exaltion the weapon gets slightly stronger, and gives you a 4% increase in chance to mastercraft to necro.

The fair trade buff they offer for 24hours is the same effect you have with necro. Its basically a free sample of what you could get.

Fair trade gives you 100% crit rate indefinitely.

Necro is harder to obtain but also much more stronger than going inherent chaos method.

Necro makes it so you can do higher end bosses sooner with less optimal gear

If you search for Nodestones in the Trade Station, you will see a red nodestone, which can be used at level 225. This would be first priority.
Blink is a skill that teles you towards the enemy, but the true use of it is usually after Damien, where you need it to fly.
Rope lift, as others have mentioned, are of a lower priority because of our own AB skill… but I wouldn’t rule it out for the passive bonus.
Personally I favor rope lift more than the erda aoe skill with no passive stats.

they revamped preset so it looks different.. C is command where it allows you to press skills specifically in sequence or something along that line. not too sure how preset works

would be great if they allowed us to move iel gauge around. otherwise have to keep peeking at the top left and mind the cooldowns

What the “C” or “Command mode” did was cast all skills continuously with a single button press, as opposed to having to press the button again to activate the skill

In fact the current iteration of presets, now automatically makes you able to assign all buff type skills in a single preset. Which means it’s good for budget players without a buff pet, for the purpose of bossing

Iel’s skills is straight forward

1. spam Altaya/Continuum as much as possible
2. gain charges with your other skills so that you can spam
   Altaya/Continuim
3. don’t “waste charges” by over charging

you got/get 2x 10% scrolls with Iel lvl quests. i used both of em on wepon after i refined it to get a 26% Necro craft. and got it on first (lucky)

that way you have a lvl 40, SF 19 Necro wep

What’s your usual rotation?

There’s the “lazy way” and the “auto cast” way.

Mainly with Velos and splinter on pet buff, so that you can spam continuum 2x in a row - then use up other skills to charge continuum back up.

But I think the main issue is that if you are mobile player. You can’t hold on to link while you use other skills

The concept is simple. Spam continuum, use other skills to recharge continuum. Continue spamming. Anything else use link.

The left icon in the trio is the ‘main’ ability. You can only have 1 at a time on your board.

Provided you’re willing to put in the work, Growth Package crystals are the best bang for your buck. Using those crystals to unlock character slots early on gave my main the biggest boost by far
