This is my problem right now. I know we have stuns to use as well but even with stun and our iframe not long enough to use Shinsoku to its fullest. Makes me feel very crappy about bossing. I still can’t even clear HHilla in multiplayer by myself before running out of lives. Feel so weak.

Blaster scales late because by then dps uptime matters more and more. From vhilla charts i think we are better than DS (Bolo vs Rubedo)

Iframe on command is crazy if you know what to expect i.e Gloom balls when eye open, if no bsp bene others need to avoid but blaster just iframes through it

Blaster isnt amazing at the start. Imo hayato is the strongest early-mid warrior considering i have done necro weap+clean gear test for several alts

it all depends on the boss and player skill expression. anything Damien and beyond shouldnt be taken as gospel since there are so many nuanced optimization for each boss after that that unless you have experienced it, explaining it doesnt help

Fog dummy is a purely ideal benchmark of dps that you will never experience it in real bossing

even @glass matrix took a while during post-lotus to recognize what Blaster provides differently compared to other dps classes

Hey, I actually forgot you mentioned this in a prior comment. I used Hitokiri for stun (I was using tornado blade before lmao) and it made a big difference in maximizing Shinsoku. Thank you for bringing that up!

This was a run I did tonight fully buffed and with DS4. I was able to make full use of Shinsoku and get the whole 15s off.

Also seeing as this is an ark run and it’s obviously a carry run, it won’t really reveal your true dpm/dps cuz the run ended so quick. Best to run a training dummy with the right settings and post those results. 2 min BAs

Or even the EXP special node.
These options are a luxury for sure.

Ensure sword energy is full before the boss run:

V3 -> Falcon Honor -> Hitokiri Strike -> V1 + V4 -> Shinsoku + V2

I like to keep bar pretty high for the BA + Crit damage buff. V2 Damage has always seemed too low for me to sacrifice the buffs that come with a full sword gauge.

So they added i-frames to other characters but kept the i-frame on Hayato’s 5th job? You still have to decide whether you want to waste an i-frame to burst or do a smaller burst to save it. Giving Hayato an extra i-frame is tricky even if you add one to Hundred Strike, you’ll still be using it primarily to i-frame attacks or cancel animations.

U can do so while casting shinsoku as well. The sequence is origin>shinsoku> tap origin (while casting shinsoku).
Shinsoku lines will be reduced by half doing so. This sequence actually let U burst in shortest time to fit into DS4

Because it refills 700 energy exactly for 7 x V2 which is around 330+ lines.
Those stats only give 25% ba + 25% CD it's not alot Vs those loss of lines in my opinion.

Because if u let it end naturally for the last origin, U won't be stuck in animation lock, u r able to keep hitting. And the cd begin when U first hit the origin.

Then invest according to skills that is not capping. If all is not capping, Priorise skill that deal the most dmg % accordingly to the battle analysis

If all capping, invest in hex stats, try to unlock more mdc. Then repeat the process
