well the issue isn't the loss of dmg reduction. It's that survivability sucks even with reduction

you really just need to stack enough HP that touch dmg doesnt matter, because ark's skill will make sure you take touch dmg even if you kill fast

the gear given to you from events has an (E), is bound to you and thus is not tradable or sellable.
if you fuse that (E) gear, it turns into a tradable/sellable piece of gear
