For the Auras? Only small ones (like decreasing time between party heals for red aura) or some buff to blue aura similar to the hyper point you could use, but i dont see those happening

I’d love to see an increase IED in the dark aura - like a short activation (10s per 90s or whatever) - adds back to our support that we dont really have

So if we assume 1 second a tick for 60 seconds, that’s 300k healing

Bam healing, let’s just say at 160k, at one tick per 5 seconds is…

24k per 5 seconds (24k is 15% of 160k as per the maximum healing amount specified in the skill description)

So, in a 60 second run that would be… 288k

One thing to note is that our healing will scale with our max hp, and our healing mechanic is slightly different than that of mechanics or bishops

Our healing aura, once applied, allows our teammates to heal themselves for a percentage of their max hp from their attacks, but we also heal them as well with our attacks

So factoring in that portion… our teammates, assuming they all have 160k hp and that we all attack at the same time, will essentially heal for 576k while we heal for 288k

Soooooo to average this out, I believe the math works out to:
((576k x 9) + 288)/10 = 547.2k heal over the course of 60 seconds

Heal does apply to ds. That’s why often party with ds are positive in pot consumption. I would take a more frequent activation time for ours. Like maybe 15% max heal cap but 2.5s reactivation. Stating my preference. In fact I would take 10% max heal cap if we can get 1.5s cd.

Ok what health cap would you settle on if we want to aim for a 2.5s cd? 12.5%? Basically what ds leech aura will be over time just tick twice as fast? I would take that actually. I feel consistent healing is better for us especially help us counter fair trade.

Also btw ds heal can be chaotic. Just sharing my experience. It seems to take the dmg number at random on a tick. Thus if it ticked on a low line, I only get 2-4k heal (ok my ds is barely geared lvl 200 with emb l32 weapon). Hence you can’t bank on consistent heal if our attacks have low dmg lines mixed in. This is a big reason why I would like quicker ticks with lower cap. Effective smooth the healing so it’s more consistent.

I don’t know about you, but most of my lines shouldn’t have any problems with healing the cap unless it’s dr phase and the fair trade tick procs the heal

I’ve suggested 3 seconds before and I think I will stick with it because anything less it just a little too much

Fair trade tick does 2500, but for some reason it count as damage done, so there are times when it will heal for 25hp

This is typically during the beginning of the run when activating fair trade + v1, so it shouldn’t occur too often

It’s good yea - more lines etc but if you are choosing between this and a lvl25 boost node i would pick the boost node (maybe others will argue that!)
V2 is good for bossing too/ consistent damage and it applies the debuff that makes us do more damage. And only need to place once every 30s for most bosses

Optimizing v2 during ab is probably the biggest secret to our farming efficiency

I’m going to fiddle with the skill wheel a little more. Unfortunately since I don’t run eos on bam now, harder to tell if the changes will be an improvement. My premise right now is have battle burst in between two casts of altar in order to increase the distance between casting. Follow the second altar will have just a regular preset of fb and dg. I’m not sure if 170 is actually helpful in farming given the slow casting animation and very limited aoe range. Actually this has been my pet peeve for awhile. Our 170 kinda sucks. We really need its horizontal aoe range vastly expanded.

This will be a great test, try put v2 in its own preset and then put that preset right after battle burst. This way your dash move is bookended with v2. Now compare this setup with your current setup. You can do it in 30min blocks to see if this change actually improve your kill rate.

Also you should have fb and v1 on. That attacking range will improve your kill rate.

Looks like you are around 7.5k/hr. Last time I did eos I was around 8.x k/hr

But that was a different map than yours. So can’t say definitively that my wheel would improve your numbers.

I think you can only afford 5 slot enhancements on two trios. Otherwise the v skills won’t be able to reach max lvl (30). And that already takes you to lvl230? So yea it’s a long journey.

No the front reaper attack is from condemnation. DG has the lightning strike additional damage. After the recent buffs, it's a huge chunk of damage. Both DG and Condemnation should be maxed nodes-wise

Dg extra dmg is always on and attached to every attack you do. That’s why it’s big part of your bossing dps. I think for endgame BaM, they don’t even use dg on wheel. Just for its passive extra dmg. Same probably for sweeping staff since its animation is slow. I put sweeping staff on second tier boost node in hopes of it getting a buff in the future. Dark shock is also decent. But apparently loses out to condemnation. I kinda see it as fb/dg top tier. Condemnation/dark shock next tier. Ss and battle burst for nothing better ( helps a bit in farming)

   4.attmept to gety weapon as close to 50 as possible and than attempt to chaos it( super slow, but the weapon will stay either way cuz it's 2 siscors left and best case if I get a better weapon somehow I'll convert it to exp.
4. Quit , dead server it's like playing reboot but with no boost or progress xd

I rerolled away from battle mage because of the damage output

I would focus on links, legions and invest mesos into max damage cap if you want to make your BaM stronger

I would suggest legion and link to get more stats and trying to get your crit rate to 100%

For more expensive upgrades, getting your nodes to level 60 will also increase your damage by a lot

damn thats a sexy staff. main things i'd change:

• new swep with mag atk > exp flames, MD emblem, 5%+ CD pots x2
• substitute out cht necklace for 10% exp pendant (you'll still keep 7-boss set if you replace legion medal with czak badge)
• substitute out VL ring for KT ring (10% mdmg > 3% matk)
• reflame glove to crit dmg > exp
• reflame shoes to crit dmg > exp
• recube gloves/shoulder for double mdmg%
• level up emblems
• emblem change cape to BA/CD (or build up a new cape but those flames r very nice, or keep as is, @dire holly is rocking MATK emblems but still top tier bam)
• RA top/bottom (i would do this either first or not at all tbh, depending on your budget and how much you want instant dmg vs how much necro/abso outfits will drop in $$ in the future. either way it's a veeeery good intermediary item - good enough to boost your dmg for lotus maybe damien)
• decent sharp eyes instead of ropelift when bossing
• SS jewels, legion, link skills like birb said
• nodes to lv60
• aura scythe to at least lv15 before equipping (for bossing)

Is resistance v skill worth having? I don’t use it for the moment. Also ethereal form does reduce cd as well as mp usage when you lvl up. I have a lvl6 just from opening nodes.

Yeah, those mobs are less impactful in Normal and Hard mode, but in Chaos mode even if one mob remains after 15s on the map, they will take out a huge chunk of your HP

My v1 is like lv4/5, as for hyper stat I have it on the boss damage aura , with the v1 my damage is much lower not to mention my fb is lvl41 so I get extra dps and def ignore

Definitely don't use it if it's lv4/5. Try again when it's lv 15+. It has an extra line and attacks just a little bit faster than regular FB. It will have the same skill dmg as regular FB at lv30.

V1 is faster than fb. Something like 5 attacks in the time of 4 fb. I would say the crossover point is around lv15 (including slot enhancements). Healing and other aura (speed/evd)extra is just a bonus. Plus v1 will help all your other attacks during its uptime like v2/3, ds and dg extra dmg, condem proc. So if your v1 line is at 80% of fb line, time to switch for sure. I would say even switch at 70% just so you get used to the pattern

Speedo is also right, fb boost nodes help v1 dmg. I was just comparing the point where v1 will out dps fb despite the lower skill dmg.

Btw had some leftover mu lung buff so did a guild dungeon. Scored 503m, where are other BaMs at?

Lastly a general msm bossing question, does evd work against all boss attacks (except DR)? Wondering with the recent potential buff, can all out evd build even get close to xx% where bossing becomes trivial. Also does ignore dmg hyper stat stack on evd or that’s completely separate mechanic?

You are most likely right about that. My experience is probably colored by mu lung. For example mu lung 40, I can get off 3 v1 attacks before I need to dash vs 2 fb. So I felt v1 was quite a bit faster than fb. But on any sustained attack it is probably around that 12-15% faster you stated.

Those higher lvl mu lung bosses are all 1hko. So need to avoid them completely. In fact that’s true starting 39. Use battle burst as your move to get to the other side of the boss when their attack animation starts. This method can get you through 41. 42 you need to teleport back and forth to avoid the boss attack. Timing is all about experience. 43 is back to battle burst and loads of patience.

If you are just aiming to clear 40 for the box, I would turn on v1 at lv39. V1 will last long enough for both 39/40. If you want to clear 43. I would save v1 til 42.

V1 is important for 42 because that increased range allow you to still hit boss when teleporting backwards. Where fb will be out of range.

I think you stand just slightly behind the left column. Teleport forward and then backward as needed when boss attacks

Leveling v3 won't really improve your 1-minute battle analysis dps by much, especially if you're capping, since leveling it only decreases cooldown (from 90s to 60s). You'll see a much bigger improvement in a 3-minute analysis.

That being said, maybe leveling v3 is actually > leveling v2. At least up to level 30. Maybe @dire holly was right all along again

Since leveling v2 only increases damage and that's it

So the play would actually be: level v2 until you are consistently capping with it in important boss fights, and then focus on v3 for the better uptime on it.

Just sharing some thoughts. Either way I agree an attack speed buff on v3 would be nice .

Just because something is up for a % amount longer doesn't make it better. The battle analysis is skewed because our hyper lasts 2 minutes out of 3. In the third minute I'm sure condemnation will even out/be worse than a maxed v3.

FYI Lotus has 4-5x the HP of Hmag, with more Crit RES, higher DEF% and require more manoeuvring skill

Maybe take out final blow +CD%? That's what I do on cannoneer for an extra hyper passive since I can reliably cap on my main skill. FD/hit count are a must though.
