As it stands, hit count goes from 36 to 144, that is 108 increase. When you cast it before patch you get 1140, it is now 1410, an increase of 270. Mathematically, how do you only gain 270 total when previous a 36 hit count attack can total 1140 for you

Paladin V4, which is not even their burst, got an increase of about 3-4 lines, however their overall hit count went up almost 300. This has been tested and confirmed by other paladins in my server.

Just doesn’t make any sense overall. Perhaps I’m being ignorant but I’d love to see a skill or mechanical breakdown, because based on patch notes the only changes are line count increase and skill dmg %

As aran v4 description says, we need to stack debuff 6 times, and this would take us 6 seconds to achieve, then we have 4 seconds left as v4 effect totally being 10 seconds. We don't instantly have 6 stacks as we cast, we need 6 seconds to climb up to highest dps which only lasts for 4 seconds

That's why the real output is not the way we expected

As I mentioned before, this v4 overall hits varys a lot at times. Maybe I also misunderstood. Only Nexon knows😂

Then based on my understanding: during v4, every time, you attack boss (for example using beyond blade), it will trigger v4 cursed debuff additional count, if it is 1st level already then each beyond blade will give you additional 8 lines. If it is 6th level, then each beyond blade will give you additional 6*8=48 lines

In v4, you must using Freud’s wisdom or impenetrable skin to gain 10sec invincibility to fully utilize v4 time

Activated hexa beyond blade today. At level 1 seems weaker. Looks to me like it doesn’t have shockwave blast when adrenaline is active and the maha stuff doesn’t make up for it.

You’ll probably need a high level to be better than regular beyond blade. So I wouldn’t activate it for new Arans that get 6th job until after the other ones and only potentially after you can level it up multiple times at once.

Also means that training might be worse because you won’t hit behind you when adrenaline is active.

At end end of the day you want all 8 decent skills regardless of whether you use it or not because they all give you passive attack just having it in your matrix tree.

After I tested about 4 hours.. the following boss wheel is what I use, and I tested it in 1 min battle, I am only nerfed about 10%.. still pissed off but acceptable?

You may use different wheel, this wheel fits my boss running: I need to ensure the flying and running skills available whenever I need them.

The key is that this one should not be activated at start

and this is the wheel, the idea is that the initial 55 sec is your burst time window (20 sec new golden buff + 15 sec old red buff + 15 sec new golden buff + 5 sec old red buff).

by doing this, you can use two round of this skills

After this, just wait for 2 mins then use golden buff to burst.

thanks a lot for this! but after trying, i think it's better to decouple blizzard from the buff preset+arach, so you can use the buff preset+arach before you origin at the start. it stacks maybe 5-10% more dmg. then just use blizzard after the first finisher and continue with the BB combo. what do you think?

I just finish this week's boss run with my guild member, I am still top 2 players in cwill and clucid. My gears are actually worse than the No.1.. so I think Aran is nerfed for sure but not that much (possibly about 10% less dmg compared before patch).

I could quit at any time as many friends have left, and I have been disappointed on game play recent yrs. But I still stick to aran bc I love this class. After hexa patch, Aran has finally become strongest class among msm but apparently nexon regard this phenomenon as a BUG and they decided to revise it. I can't accept this kind of nerf.
