Yup, so it’s best if you get a tradeable (unequiped or ranked up) mythic dagger with ba/cd emblem to work on. The base doesn’t matter since when you land necro you are allowed to pick which base you’ll want (always cd). A tradeable mythic is recommended because it can be passed to your cdd alts who are also accumulating necro attempts to help speed up the wait time. So for f2p it’s best to just use the event (e) weapon till mythic while you keep a side project that can be passed around. Remember to exalt the tradeable mythic to 40 before attempting necro as it will be too costly to exalt afterwards

With the path of proof package, more exp. nodes are available monthly, compared to before where exp. nodes were more scarce. So if I had to use them to max out a V skill, I'd do V1 as that's our highest dmg dealing skill

But then again, nodes are much cheaper now in NA server compared to how it was months ago

Training: I find the less cluttered with skills the skill wheel is, the less I just walk around doing no killing. You could add blade tornado but only procs. when you are right next to the targeted mob. In my party with really good mobbers, it'll take a while for that skill to trigger because target keeps switching. Hence why I took it off

They help you farm mesos/nodes lots faster and more buffs + max fever is great for bossing, but if you're really close to mdc requirement of a new boss then it'll be debatable

Get a bishop to give you heaven's door for an extra live before entering ark. Save all iframes for his insta kill attacks (screen crack), learn to kite and his attack patterns so you know what attack is coming next, record your runs to see where you made mistakes

If you have enough v slots you could take erda nova aswell to try and skip dr or have it ready once he gets starts spamming screen cracks at the last bit of hp

You probably choose cooldown cutter for getting your iframe back quicker instead of the increased duration, so that would mean you won't have fc buff up for about 12-15 seconds before being able to cast again

15% fd for 45 seconds up, 15 sec down or 10% fd up all the time, easy choice for me atleast

I'd want to be able to activate my burst whenever my DS4 activates, and not have to worry about having to wait 10 sec+ for my final cut to come off cooldown cuz I'll be missing the DS4 activation which lastst 15 secs I believe

Mine's only lvl 16 rn so I get 12,2%, but at lvl 25 it'll be 14% fd increase without dark sight and 15% with so only 1% at most

So once you get close to getting it to lvl 25 no longer need to cast during dark sight, opens up another iframe to use whenever you want instead of having to use during burst

Some case like end game bossing, I'd like to have Dark Sight available when no iframes are, and I have something to press to save myself from dying. And aswell as to use during Burst so the boss knockback skills do not interrupt it.

I prefer to just set it on auto pet buff so I have more uses of Shadow Walker, instead of just saving it to line it up just for darksight

You could go for arcane force maps to farm your own nodestones, but I would recommend buying all the nodes from event stores (+ buying some from TS if needed) to atleast unlock those two and get Blade of Destiny and Blade Tornado aswell

Try using your v2 & v3 for bosses. Make it a habit to use them as soon as possible just as they come off of cooldown, make a preset for them. They do a lot of dmg, and helps sustain your dps throughout bosses and keeps you from falling behind the dps charts especially against the stronger dps classes.

that's the preset i had Blade of Destiny & Blade Tornado on. I call it my "micro-managing" preset. At first it was difficult to remember to press them at times which caused me to miss out on some damages. But the more practice I had with making a habit of always click it as soon as the skills are off cooldown, the better I got at keeping up with it and not letting time go to waste of them not being used. How many trios we need? I read somewhere we only need 2 trios leveled to 25 and then add 5 matrix points into the slots to total 60. Is this still true?

I got my first trio and got excited and insta leveled it to 23 realizing maybe I could've saved some resources and kept it at 20 until I got my next trio

For bossing we use Blade Clone. Asura and Phantom Blow
For mobbing you could add Blade Fury, Blade Mastery and Sudden Raid. (4 trio's total)

All of it is kinda debatable I guess, if you would want training trio's or not. I've been running 4 trio's with 6 skills because I only got my perfect trio's about 2 weeks ago but in my experience Blade Mastery & Sudden raid add nothing DPM wise and we don't use Blade Fury during bossing, so running these as trio's would be your own choice or not.

After some testing I came to my own conclusion (like I said, this is debatable) I started running 2 trio's for bossing and 2 trio's for mobbing

I kept the original 3 for bossing, and whenever I start mobbing I swap my 2 trio's with 2 others which are Blade Fury, Sudden Raid and Blade Clone.
(Sudden Raid for higher damage to one hit mobs)

You'd want to lvl up trio's anyways even if they aren't perfect since it's a huge damage increase for some skills, and it's not really a waste of resourses since you can extract them for shards later and craft decent skills with them for example

Shadower has lots of short burst cooldowns, but it could be that we are all getting changed to 1min/2min burst classes in the future so it's something to keep in mind.
They both have lots of great bossing utility's whereas Shadower shines more then db when you cap but DB will be easier to reach your cap with.

In the end it comes down to whatever playstyle you enjoy more, maybe try them both out and see whatever you like or dislike about them

You will have to refine a mythic item to empress, although you do not want to waste these resources on a lvl 30 mythic item

Buy mythic > exalt to 40 > refine to empress (only needs to refine, don't lvl up the refinement) > craft into necro OR craft into ancient to later turn into chaos

We refine because if you refine before making it necro you're chance of succes increases from 4% to 8%

Or if your plan is to go chaos, you'll get a 10% increased chance of succes when going from ancient to chaos (from 30% succes to 40% succes rate)

No probs 🙏🏻 if you do go for chaos you'd want to exalt first to lvl 40 before refining (exalting takes another of the same type of item to try and increase the lvl). Once refined you'll need another refined mythic or two different types of mythics to exalt which either doubles your costs or makes you loose extra resources

Once you hit 450% CD the amount gained from CD will drop significantly, so also aim for boss attack since that one's lacking pretty hard

Usually you'd want around 150% ba when you hit 400% cd, so I'd recommend getting that stat up asap since it will be your biggest gain of damage for the time being

You got tons of CD but some stats are lacking compared to it

• Cast 2nd preset with all buffs
• Last Resort (2x cast for strongest variant)

• Blade of Destiny
• Blade Tempest (big burst)
• Asura (small burst)

You should have Last Resort and Asura up around the same time, use both for your mini burst after they come off cooldown (use last resort twice for strongest variant again)

Then you should have everything back up around the same time to repeat the cycle

The name says it all, it's a unique drop from the boss 'Will' which drops at a high rate.

You should be able to just buy it off trade station, I've bought mine between 5-25m (I bought three, since that would save me one exp nodestone)

Take note however, you can only upgrade this skill by using red will nodestones or using experience nodestones (will need around 38? Exp nodestones to max out the skill)

Mirror Target works on HP%-scaled damages. Bosses will deal fixed or hp%-scaled damage attacks, and mirror target decreases the value of the damage by 30%. Very useful in late game bosses as a lot of the attacks in their attack rotations deal those type of damages. Potentially, it could be what saves you from critical situations where you are just 1 hit/tick damage away from death had you not have mirror target up

*Also really useful in Magnus,where you can stand outside of his Blue Zone and not take tick damages

You mean Crit Dmg as CDM? The stats gained per lvl is better with boss damage then crit damage so if you are picking one of the two then def pick BA

There is another option though which is Ignore DMG, works kind of like a passive iframe where you can ignore dmg instead it dealing dmg or even killing you, has a % chance to activate and it's pretty usefull in bosses like gloom

nope but the daily quest from 240/245/248 gives selector so you can just select esfera to rush

Quick question: Technically it’s better to have 1 point for duration increase and 1 point for cooldown decrease, as the additional 5% final damage doesn’t do as much, am i right?

It’s 5% FD on all skill you used during Final Cut buff durations.

1. If you prefer to time it and burst

2. For better QoL, I recommend to just take 20% extra Crit Dmg on Phantom Blow as Final Cut usage at later stage will be mostly used for iframe

Also they going to nerf dark sight’s 10 seconds iframe to like 3-5 seconds
