Whelp, I feel stuck. I can't figure what else to be doing while I attempt to necro my bow. Any suggestions would be helpful!

I can't decide what is the best use of my resources. Necroing the bow is top priority, 5 attempts in so far, but otherwise it feels like there are just so many options. I think working on my link skills is important, but I don't know if that will be a big difference.

For BM, at 245+ you will have more node slots than you need for everything.

When you are high enough level and you have your V1,2,3,4 at lvl30 (Top priority because we are in a Vskill Def Ignore meta) you will be able to include secondary trios (Quiver/Phoenix/AS don't need to be lvl60, but at the very least lvl40+ so you get the def ignore bonus)

Right idea, wrong item. If you plan on playing long term, I would recommend looking for a CD/BA emblem overall to start building up. Exalt to it 40 > Refine > Necro > Abso. RA/Inherit/Chaos gear are obsolete and a deadead, especially after they updated the Abso set effect to give Def Ingore.

Note: You can spam unique flames farmed from chaos expeditions on your items for a chance for it to become double line. It is reccomended to only use legendary flames or better on an item after that.

You can test it out your self

first take off quiver nodes so that it is lvl 0 boost, test out damage with gold arrows on without V3 on

this will show you pire gold arrow damage

next test pop your v3 then attack

your damage should be the same

now you can redo these tests with quiver nodes on

and you can compare the damage

Surprisingly not great. There is a huge misconception that BMs are great at mobbing because of our "Best mobber" title from various msm videos showing test that BMs have the highest kill count in AF maps (particularly larger maps). This is not because we have good multi target mobbing skills, but rather we have 5 skills that constantly spawn homing arrows that go around the map hunting down enemies we can't even see. Most of these skills are single target so multi target mobbing wise, we are pretty garbage.

If you're getting smoked for over 150k from bump damage, this means your gear rank isn't high enough. Sounds like you're using mythic/inherit. If this is the case, you can buff birthday cake and hamburger for 50% boss def and 50% phy def to be able to tank it. Make sure you also equip PEs to recover fast enough

This is a good start! Keep exalting the rest of the mythics to 40 and then empress it and start attempting to hit Necro. Focus on Hat, Outfit, Glove and shoes to help increase you HP base.

The 2 extra lives from v4 should also help you survive.

Hey y'all, I'm at a bit of a loss and use a bit of a poke in the right direction.

All my gear is exalted to 40, my weapon is necro, and I am working on getting my armor to necro with minimal luck. While I am doing that, is there something I should be focusing on other then leveling and farming Mesos?

I don't quite know where to spend my Mesos efficiently now. So far I check off all of the boxes::

• Full emblem, each at lvl 3 - 4
• all items at exalt 40
• full set of link skills & legion lvl @ 3800
• VMatrix like 70% leveled up

you wont have any iframes though, but instead you get V4 with 2 stacks that can save you. they regen every 30secs

Hello, why don't you take blocks from the critical rate and fill them with physical attacks? Since you have the Necro skill, I don't think the critical rate is necessary.

Example would be Lotus, which have 70% Crit resist.

So you would need more than 100% Crit rate to always Crit on bosses that have Crit resist

So free Crit rate from legion is very much helpful.

That is also why players still eat Crit rate buffs even with Fair Trade turned on.

Furthermore before the fair trade rework when it still had its HP drain mechanic, turning it on during certain boss phases (example in Damien) is most certainly a death sentence hence players had to rely on pure Crit stats outside of fair trade.

But this doesn’t apply anymore 😬👍

Lowkey BM is so nerfed that even a 1.8m CP DB was able to out dps me during lucid (lower lvl too, only had two necros) against a BM main with 5.2m CP, that is geared with multiple ABSOLAB GEAR AND NECRO MIXED

Another instance a WA with only one necro gear one ancient and all mythic was able to OUT DPS ME multiple times in ark and other boss. Nodes that are not fully leveled

Unfortunately, the Bowmaster is neglected, and I've seen several cases where the Bowmaster with the highest MDC is outclassed by others with lower MDC. It's a shame because so much is invested in increasing the MDC, only to have someone else surpass you with a small improvement. This has been going on for years, and there's never been a decent upgrade. Even the 15-second burst from Inhuman Speed is weak. Currently, the Bowmaster is mid-range, verging on low-end. They should file a complaint so that they can at least improve it decently once after all these years.

If you're looking for explosive damage and a large number of hits, the Mercedes and Wild Hunter are the top archers in terms of damage and hits.

BM slaps DB around in mobbing. There are some jobs that just aren’t as good at bossing as others and that’s fine. Some need buffs, some need nerfs.

I always recommend to jump into #msm-feedback-qol and read the rules in the pins, then leave a constructive submission about what’s bad, what you recommend changing, and why you feel that way. Use skill names and numbers, keep your voice heard. (All archers are kinda known to be meh, so I feel you)

I think BM are in a good spot but we really lack survival skills like a proper iframe.

We fall behind in quick bossing content that is shorter than 1min, because we need to wait the full 1min for V1 to do all of it's hits. In the case with lotus/lucid/damien where the bosses have times where you cannot hit him or moves around too much, this waste our V1 uptime and we lose lines because of this.

the bossing content we do really well on is vhilla. she doesnt move around too much and we can move + attack with ease. i can say BMs outperforms other meta class dps by quite alot in vhilla.

In will, we excel as the poison holder in phase 3 with blink shot.

However besides outperforming in vhilla, we are kinda lackluster and mid for other bosses

I am not hitting my max cap, but I think that is because of my def ignore rate is low 42% with the rune

V4 works the same as a heavens door but it’s not really a traditional iframe

Try at least one line each for ied

Your mdc still pretty low so it won’t make too much of a diff

And no necro so that’ll hurt for higher bosses

Does BM need decent SE node? Also, how many Boss Attack emblems are BIS compared to CD? I Currently have CD weapon and 2 cd armor, 2 boss atk armor, 3 junk emblems looking to swap out. Trying to decide between boss attack and crit damage emblems before I commit to a necro project.

I think bm is a solid class overall

But needs a ton of funding

Compared to smtg like marksman

Downsides is no real short burst

But you don’t have to aim anything bc everything is a long duration skill

Less chance of missing

Sucks for bosses like will and lucid where they disappear and do stuff then come back

0 party utility tho and no true iframe but v4 blocks some stuff like screen cracks and skills over 50% of your health
