# gusty cove Played the game yesterday, launched today and I get Loading Error, all progress ...

Hi, sorry this happened to you. I see you have quite a few broken app save in your save folder. Did you crash the last time you played, before the corruption ?
A few players have had this issue and we're working on a patch to avoid complete save corruption on crashes. (It doesn't always corrupt the whole save but our system isn't robust enough yet)

Unfortunately, there's no way to recover the files, but we can give you a custom save to help you avoid playing the early game again ...
Can you tell me where you were at in the game ? (City won, meta progression, apocalypse reached)

the game didn't crash, no bsod either. broken saves are multiple because I tried to use it (after renaming) and see if it would work

mmh, that's weird. That makes sense for the files.
Let me know if you want an advanced save file, I'll see what I can do
Again, sorry you had to face this

so no way to recover my exact game state?

I have a save file I manually backup-ed before my last completed run, I can give it and you can edit it so that last run is completed. Is it possible?

yes, I unlocked the last map and apocalypse 4 in that save file. Then completed Glintfein on that Apoc level - this progress is lost. I started Gildenberg Apoc 5 after that but I don't care about this particular progress lost. I want you to make it so my newly unlocked Glintfein is complete on Apocalypse 4 in the save file that I can give to you.

nice, it is there. Saves me about 10 hours and patience to play the same haven on the same Apoc level. A little bit sad that exact "AP spent by weapon skills" progress cannot be restored (not because of you but because I would have to know and remember exact numbers) but it's also whatever. Thank you (:

also it has just come to my memory that it actually was a crash, my PC turned off during that Gildenberg run. That sure was the reason
