im saying that gamenights and anything related to or hosted by the gamenight department should be only pinged to people who want to attend them... with the gamenight pings role. if you start hosting more tournaments and off platform events whats stopping people from picking up the role themselves if they sincerely gain interest in it? instead of pinging the whole community and upsetting the few who care so much about a single ping

Everyone ping is necessary in this case, since It needs the most number of atendees. Think of It like an Important ARD divisional shout, It needs everyone ping ofc.
