I don't see why not

finite narwhal
#

no would be abused

#

with goofy heads

white barn
proper yarrow

no

wary basin
#

maybe

#

but no

next marten
#

no

#

join ard or sc if u wanna have headgear

#

and this would probably get a lot of restrictions

fading epoch

no

flint warren
#

Issue is 1. Its basically the perk of officer +, 2. I could see it being that you always have to keep your helmet on if you exit spawn. So just another thing to warn people over.

#

I could see it being allowed off for events but thats about it

frail summit
#

No

finite narwhal
#

then u can be a bald guy

#

like ard

ember sorrel
#

Officer until Veteran Officer*

flint warren
white barn
#

thats still technically headgear

flint warren
#

Still get full customisation. If i want to be specific then uc+

white barn
#

customization shouldnt be a perk

wary basin
#

it is when you earn it

#

UC+

white barn
#

Yeah! Ill apply to AOA and spend the next 6 months of my life as a slave to a lego milsim just to get the privillege to wear a berret, and not even the hair i wanted to!

wary basin
#

or just become ARD you get better options to customize your head

white barn
#

sorry not gay

wary basin
#

or even sc

white barn
#

im not getting into sc

wary basin
#

though the beret makes it look goofy

white barn
#

the beret looks unimportant

#

the one that officers get

wary basin
#

divisionless aren’t getting the option to remove the helmet for “customization” 💀

white barn
#

reminder not all divisionals have un-removable helmets

wary basin
#

not hating or anything but this is a silly suggestion

flint warren
#

Whole idea is that you're a faceless soldier

#

Thats apart of being aegis, but as i said if we would have this feature i bet a rule will be in place that you can't remove your helmet outside of spawn corridor

#

Thus being the same as it is rn with how you have to put on combatics if you leave the corridor

white barn
flint warren
#

Yuh

#

Thats the point

#

You get abit more freedom but you're still a disposable soldier

#

Just one with a tad more well equipped in armour to represent that you're able to host patrols

#

Thus the slightly higher armour count

flint warren
#

Yep

#

Thats the point

#

Slighttttt more

white barn
#

how do ard and aia combatics even have more armor

#

you guys only get a suit/labcoat

flint warren
#

But if everyone had their helmets off it would also be incredibly hard to tell apart the ranks and whos aegis or not

flint warren
white barn
flint warren
#

It has inbuilt high end kevlar within the actual clothes

#

And just like john wicks it only stops low powered rounds

#

I would assume ards labcoat is the same

white barn
#

yeah but divless get an entire vest

#

and unless aegis is just using sheet metal for those

flint warren
#

They also get cheap equipment

white barn
#

youd expect kevlar and ceramic to be in there

flint warren
#

Besides from a gameplay perspective joining a division to only decrease in armour wouldn't be pleasant

#

Lore wise its because the base gear is cheaply produced in mass

white barn
#

plus you guys have every other division at ur feet

flint warren
#

Aegises main strategy just like in game is to throw a bunch of divisionless at the eneky

#

Enemy

flint warren
#

300 of each combative in the lore
20 aias.

#

Major importance to keep their identities hidden and the agents alive

white barn
#

remind me how aegis only have 900 divisionals that can fight

#

and only 20 humint/sigint agents

#

in a corporation with over

#

100000 members

#

and like 4 other sister companies

flint warren
#

Because aias are stupidly hard to get right

#

In lore they only respond to the chairman

#

Basically they're his right hand for enforcement in the anti terrorism department

#

Very few selected at all. You can kinda see that in the aia game. What not.

white barn
#

the only aia i see in game die to f2p raiders

white barn
#

im pretty sure this is supposed to be a little structured after the cia considering only one word differs between the twos names and acronyms

#

focus more on the humint/sigint aspect lorewise rather than the edgy "UUUUGHR WEAR ALL BLACK TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM THE WASTELANDERS WHO DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO WRITE! JOHN WICK! ONLY 20!"

#

id change some things in the aia lore but id rather not argue with u guys

#

like no offense but some of u guys are edgy as fuck and then have a superiority complex ontop of that

flint warren
#

I didn't design aia lore, basically people that organise the attacks to counteract terrorist acts on the city via raiders what not. Have to cover themselves up to not leave themselves open to said raiders abducting their affiliates.

#

In the end they're just high working civilians basically the corpo start to cyberpunk.

white barn
#

why not just turn the aia ingame that go out into the wasteland into the SAC equivalent

#

would make more sense that way

flint warren
#

But this is going off the topic from your suggestion. Infact if anything aia would be the one combatics to never remove their helmets even if this was added

#

They're more faceless then the divisionless

#

Sac equivalent?

white barn
#

special activities center

flint warren
#

Also like every division goes into the wasteland

white barn
#

The Special Activities Center (SAC) is the center of the United States Central Intelligence Agency responsible for covert operations. The unit was named Special Activities Division (SAD) prior to a 2015 reorganization. Within SAC there are at least two separate groups: SAC/SOG (Special Operations Group) for tactical paramilitary operations and S...

flint warren
#

Never heard of sac ngl

white barn
#

have u heard of MACVSOG

#

sf group in nam comprised of seals and sfg

#

practically these sac guys lead it

#

most infamous sf unit used in the time period

#

plus they trained Hmong tribesmen as partisans in the jungle

#

gonna just delete this cause we already went off topic and blah blah
