#Consequence for Subjects

So I was sitting there the other day and reading the wonderful suggestion made by ExoticCheddar about AHDP (100% go upvote that) and I realised something. What if our test subjects don't want to work. You see that lowers AEGIS & Raiders productivity for ore output with batteries and fedorlite anddd there so happens to be a alert upon each new AHDP quota that if the subject doesn't complete quota they will be exposed to "radioactive isotopes" so heres the idea.

If the subject has not completed quota by time the day is up a alarm will sound, the scrap box dropper hatch opens up but instead of handing out scraps it will switch the subjects prison area to contain Z-14 level of radioactivity. This will last for a minute or so to ensure the subject is dead then close back up and announce the next quota amount.

This should help improve the production of fedorlite for raiders and aegis as well as bringing realism in forced slave labour. :D

@raven compass thanks for triggering this idea.

From like a lore sense it’s cool but I feel it’d just frustrate em and then we’d have less subjects

It also fulfills the threat the notice warns you about so you can say its finishing a unfinished part of the game.

We could have it stay radioactive until someone turns it off so the subjects can't respawn trollface_aegis

#

A good incentive to work

a few years ago i made a similar suggestion but made it flood the prison with lava from the lava pool instead if they failed quota

raven compass
#

but realistically in lore subjects would get punished for failing quota on a regular basis

#

cus aegis actually need the ore they make (probably not, they just need to make the sla-- workers do smth productive

queen cedar
#

So yes this would be lore accurate

"So since you don't want to work for us, we are going to melt you with as much RADs as possible. We will see if you want to work then." suggestion, ngl.

@queen cedar it should put the subjects to a lower max hp, like instead of 100, their hp gets set to 50 or 30
