Okay so i think ARD should gain the ability to put dead players in body bags if they have an infection so you can dispose of the body properly, having a corpse with an infection isnt very sanitary and would lead to an outbreak, this could also be a chance to add an incineration room that ARD can drag the body bagged player into to dispose of the corpse and its infection properly. The body bag would be a physics thing that would be dragged behind the ARD when in use.

Imagine being the only ard online and you have to drag every single body yourself during infection

#

I mean it’s bad enough already

I wouldn’t mind disposing some bodies, maybe. But at the same time, the purpose of the cure gun is to remove any and all signs of infection so it wouldn’t make sense to have remnants inside a corpse.

Wouldn’t the corpse be burnt anyway

Also could lag server

It doesnt serve much a purpose besides cosmetic considering they’re cured when they die

me and coded wanted to do this, it's just the ragdolls are all client-side atm - server doesn't even know they exist (this was done for optimisation reasons) but means there is no way for us to do cool features with bodies like this. my idea was adding an invisible brick that all the client side ragdolls are "binded to" in a physics sense so if we move the invisible brick (the only brick the server actually sees) then the client would perform all the neccessary physics calculations with the ligaments attatched to the brick automatically - but this would require a complete re-write of the ragdoll system.. again...

would be cool ngl

or maybe it doesnt have to be a ragdoll and instead the velocity of the body just tapers off when you stop moving
