thats not causde it "fits the theme" is because aegis had like no devs so they cut corners

ig just have it so that the facility gets more detailed over time so players can get used to it and so that the game doesn't look like one room is dead as shit but then the next to be detailed as shit

im not saying that they should directly import what i have screenshotted im just showing what the concepts of different reactors would be like, they can change it to whatever aesthetic they want

The reactor is already being changed with some really cool featurs

So yes there is upgrades to it coming alot of them

Also reactor design wise it doesn't run off nuclear power and isn't a steam based reactor. It runs of a item called fedorlite.
