Short: Grapple gun that can only attach to buildings and possibly vehicles, not terrain. One time use, costs ingots or obtained through division. Pulls you towards point of firing.
Ropedart- An old world mobility tool used for military and utilitarian purposes alike. Uses advanced rappelling technology to fire a hook into a surface, attach to users belt and propel them to the point of the projectile. Issued to mid-rank and above STHD for positioning purposes and favored by enemies of AEGIS for conducting raids.
Mechanics- Has appearance of stocked, pistol sized grappling device with a small pressure canister and a cog for pulling the rope back, as well as a rope leading to the users waist.
User will have to aim at a building part within a certain range, and hold the tool for the duration of the pull. Item is removed from inventory on full use or upon early release.
Fairly loud. Does not work on terrain, only buildings such as the various towers in the wasteland and possibly vehicles.
Obtainment - Ingot store or bunker, 80 ingots. One time purchase, lost upon death.
Pros: Cool new item. Allows for more tactical gameplay. Opens up loads of new raiding routes, and allows for effective assaults on the front gate (for example using the new vent by the gate and then rappelling up). Leaves user vulnerable. Easier to attack VTOLs perhaps.
Cons: Likely hard to make. Possibly allows going outside of map. Can only really be used outside. Immensely unrealistic. Not very good suggestion. Feel free to add to the list.
