What is Protocol: Endgame? (Debatable name): Protocol: Endgame is a last resort protocol in which the border has been being raided by raiders for an immaculacy long time period and it seems as if no AEGIS are able to break through and secure back the border. When the protocol is activated, the intercom will come on telling everyone that Protocol: Endgame is in place and that all AEGIS personnel need to report to the border bunker (A new addition for this protocol, not the roof bunker). After about 5 minutes of the protocol being in place and the intercom directing everyone, the bunker's door will close and every area apart of the border will start to spray toxic gas that will kill anyone, regardless of if you have a gas mask or not. After about 30s of the gas spraying all around the border, the gas will cease, and the bunker's door will open. Everyone is to report back to Protocol: Lockdown procedures once Protocol: Endgame is finished. Protocol: Endgame, as stated before, is a last resort protocol, meaning that this protocol will most likely not happen often and will be quite rare as it is a very conditional protocol.

How can you activate Protocol: Endgame?: Protocol: Endgame can be activated how any other protocol is activated. Except, to activate Protocol: Endgame, you will need permission from a Unit Captain+ (Debatable) to activate.

the chances of this happening are 0%. not 0.5%, not 0.001%, just 0. its already extremely rare for invasion, so i doubt this will ever be used

for aegis, you go into a bunker so only for wastelanders that have to evac

opens up an idea of adding a new “infection” alongside it that would just be an instant kill/health drain nerv agent

funny seeing toml running around with instant death needles

more related to the actual protocol, to not just base this entirely off of aegis, an ability for wastelanders could be added

with some hacking or other ability, most likely linked to the engineering division and sector whenever it is added, raiders could manually deploy the protocol/Nerv agent distribution

this would allow for this update to be added along with the city and aed (as if they’d ever be added in the first place) as an easy way for aegis to clear the facility, and a fun new reason for wastelander a to raid compared to blowing up the reactor for the 50th time

I think this is something raiders could initiate, just like meltdown. ARD could have a storage filled with this gas, the raiders head to a terminal for example and consequently make the gas escape through vents and slowly begin to fill up the facility

Not Really, you can escape more easily, plus you don't need to run towards some train in the middle of the wasteland that's guarded by 20 Dew 5S raiders

few issues that break it

one, making it uc+ permission just makes it an "event" protocol and it will NEVER happen

we already have a protocol for last resort, its lockdown

and its op as fuck for raiders that are trying to do something in the border

this could be nerfed down to make it better

such as certain area of the borders like chairmans office arent de-contaminated

roof isnt gassed/outside areas as they are outside

and as for "border bunker"

could just make it vtol hangar lol

5 minutes is also a long time, what would PROBABLY end up happening is raiders taking the secure area and camping it, resulting in aegis being murdered twice (by raiders then by gas)

so maybe like 1 minute or 30 seconds

could also make gas masks resist it

make the gas spray for 40 seconds

so civ gas masks would run out

but pksf/ard can still deal with it (or not that would be pretty op)
