Zipties- Strong plastic ties intended for utilitarian use, but repurposed for capturing and securing a knocked down target. Often used by raiders for capturing high value aegis targets. Limited in use, and requires target to be knocked down.
Function:
Works exactly like normal aegis cuffs, but has a different model and can only be used on a knocked down individual (critical health). Victim will still heal while cuffed, and releasing them may be consequential. Victim cannot be cuffed again if released after they have healed, they will have to be knocked once more.
Would be used to capture AEGIS members and be able to do new things, such as holding people ransom or capturing people to infect with an S-100. For example, one could capture an AIA member and negotiate with PKSF. Just more activities and roleplay for the game.
Has a lot of risk associated with capturing, since you can still be shot by the knocked victim.
Obtainment: 25 ingots at ingot stores. 10 ingots for the ingot store in the raider base.
Pros: More things to do, fun thing to troll with, ability to create your own events aside from meltdown or outbreak. Hostage situations. Interrogations.
Cons: Maybe giving wastelanders zipties isn’t that good of an idea but it would be cool.
