there are so many useful duties such as lanes, bat hosting, processing booths and roof jobs that need fulfilling
but theres lazy operatives and field agents that just stand around there

Nah this is a big goofy. Why remove this post just SC should move them to lanes

this post does have a few advantages over normal lane posts
for example, if your a raider running in sometimes if your in third person sometimes the gateshield blocks your view of the person on post there
it also makes it not so easy to get shot down since not everyone would be in a single straight line
