Why don’t you use notepad?

#

Add a feature to be able to copy usernames from the tablist and then use notepad

#

Yeah but with a clipboard tool but that will just add more complexity

#

Press tab, look for 2 seconds and click on his username to copy

#

Won't require a tool

#

Ok then, make a drop down menu at the side that hides a button to copy the username, takes just 1-3 seconds longer

#

What

#

You said this is to help with bats

#

Then it's a skill issue that you didn't see them

#

If you couldn't read their name in time, you also wouldn't be able to pull out the Flipboard to copy it

#

or at least get a glimpse of the username

#

If you know the first few letters, you can just look for any corresponding names in the tablist

#

That wouldn't solve anything, you still don't know their name

#

And how is that a problem? That's actually a benefit

#

You have more time to copy the name down so you can report it to SC

#

Sure it'd deal no harm but also no real benefit either so it would be useless

#

Aight

#

quick question, do you have windows as your Operating System?

#

Great, then you could also, with my suggestion,
Do a BAT
Check a persons username
Look through the nowadays empty tablist for a matching username, and repeat for each attendee
Copy it by, for instance, double clicking their username in the tablist
This way you can also copy multiple usernames at once, due to the fact that windows has a clipboard history (Activated with Win + V)
Once copied, go on with the training
Wedge
Paste the usernames from the in-windows included clipboard history into the BAT submission format
And post it.

#

then they'd have to remedy it with the in-game notepad or a text file on their machine

#

Sure it would be easier, but is it really worth the hassle, in reality BATs are useless and not actually needed in the recruitment process of joining aegis (for the time being) and it's probably gonna stay that way as it has been like this the last year and a half that I've been in aegis

#

Having a tool to copy usernames, although usable outside of BATS, wouldn't provide much assistance in TK occurrences

#

as you need to react, equip the clipboard and aim your mouse at them to copy the username, by the time your mouse is on them you may already be dead cause most of the times you're caught by surprise

#

And when you're not caught by surprise, you definitely know their username already

#

just use !notepad

#

aits not hard

#

to write down a username

#

then you have issues bro

#

you cant tell in-game

#

can*

#

thats i

elder stone
#

Although that's currently the point of the facility, at least the part that O-EFA can access, is to perform BATs, the people accepting group invite (ToML I think) don't care if they passed processing or not

#

sure go on

elder stone
#

yea I think the only difference between L and I is height(talking about nametags)

vagrant holly
#

its an I

#

im just blind then but check #📷media

#

you can see the difference in username

elder stone
#

add it but after the inventory update

#

sorting inventories is fun enough as it is

#

but I still think being able to copy usernames from the tablist is better

#

or at least make the clipboard more functional than just copy usernames

#

The passed processing post format included there as default

elder stone
#

Or make it help with divisional duties

#

as the not so epic sc (I was better) said

#

I agree with the suggestion if you think it should help universally with what we suggested, and not just a username copy device

#

If so you should edit the main post

#

would be useful for regcom+ and SO+ cuz BATs and Trainings

#

so ye

#

its a pain in the buttocks to do it with like 8 attendees and them annoying you wondering when it would start

and then its a pain to wait for the host to team like 40 attendees because the radius command isn't working

#

and then officers have the painful job of teaming them all
