Maybe when entering tower 1-2 it’s useful but other than that, you use different guns the entire way past that unless you encounter someone at processing. It shouldn’t be nerfed, it has very little usage out in the wasteland or on roof if you’re not heading towards elevator. Stay away from those points and you won’t die to it

5SS doesn't require any skill use while you argue the fact that DEW-1S is also a powerful however it actually requires skill to use and it only has 1 ammo per shot and you need to wait 7 seconds for it to shot again.

The armor will sometimes help if you’re at a greater distance, as 5ss sucks at that range and damage taken is usually lower. I’ve noticed that my armor will have gone down around 105 armor points once I’ve been hit by a 5ss in cqc

Sometimes it’ll take 2-3 shots to kill a PKSF with 5ss, with and without titanium, and that’s cqc in coolant

I’m sure it all relies on if 2 or more pellets hit
