Already wrote a ticket, but I'm wondering if other people have this issue as well:
I'm in the third iteration of the 'Strong Youth' season pass quest and just noticed that its progress bar is at 0/6 for all my 3 teams. All 3 teams have completed the 2nd quest iteration last Friday (Nov 21st) and have observed 3 youth players in the match last Tuesday (Nov 25th) as well, so progress should be at 3/6 for each of them.
Anyone else having this issue?
#'Strong Youth' progress from Tuesday's youth match seems to haven't been counted

Addendum: I just used my free observation from owning all 5 youth hubs with my main team on a youth player, and now the progress counter is at 1/6, so at least it seems to work right now. Still, progress from last Tuesday seems to have been ignored.
You need to observe different players, if you use same players progress will stagnate.
When quest is completed with 6 different players then you need 6 other different players to be observed at least one time.
In total per season 18 different players to be observed min. 1 time.
And then this quest is considered fully completed.
That didn't work that way up until now. It's not how the quest is described either. So, have there been changes that haven't been communicated?
For the first two levels of that quest, I observed the same six players in one week and then in the next. Worked fine and that's how it's always been up to this point.
No one reported it before and everyone used the bug. Fix was made some week ago in this season, and description states you need 6 players observed at least one time. These observed don't qualify after one observation anymore.
Observing 18 different players in one season is just ridiculous and makes no sense. It's one thing collecting points for the season pass by playing the game properly, and a whole another one to have to shoot yourself in the knee to do it. There was no 'bug', and changing this without proper notification is a poor idea imho.
Alas, I'll accept this at the official stance. Anything that makes players waste more cards I guess.
Thanks for clarifying.
With 4 observation slots as max per matchday this quest can be achieved in 2.5 weeks.
It is aiming for different players.
It's 3 max observation slots without using Stars for the 4th slot. And the point is that you need to even have 18 different youth players for that, while most effective way to train a good youngster to recruit him into your main team would be to just consecutively observe him every game with 3 training points to get him recruitable as fast as possible. Or at most training 3 players with 1 training point each over several consecutive games to recruit them. Your main team only has so many slots for members though, so it certainly makes no sense to rush that many youth players into your main team per season. And keeping a youth player in the youth team over several seasons make him worthless to recruit in the main team later.
...also, the quest says 6 per week. If indeed you can get 8 counts in a week by having the 4th observation slot active as well, it should be worded more clearly. Not that this really matters to my gripes, just another thing that came to mind.
Are you maybe not understanding what the quest asks you to do? Perform 1 match observation for 6 different players. This is very easy quest, a developed club with youth building can have in one week 6 players observed 1x time each in two matches.
Next week do it for 6 more and in 3rd week for last 6. You are then left with about 9 weeks to keep observing.
Quest does not say to do it in a week. At least English is not and all other languages should follow it.
