-what do you mean by training intensity?
player fatigue/freshness indeed has an impact how good your players train
-match experience does not have an impact
-buildings like winter camp or legacy towers significantly increase skills -
Its hard to tell without knowing how your team looks like. i know that many player do not train goalkeeper skill instead they let them practice in youth team or send them to winter camp etc.
unless you play high effort every single game you don't need freshness recovery at the 20:00 slots i have a 100/100 physical therapist to keep freshness up. -
personally i wouldn't use any special cards till you've reached 110 team strength and upgrade your stadium complex to a decent point.

there's no need to rush anything. No matter how your team strength looks like there are competitions where you play against teams with even strength level like IM or GUFA events.

there are many players with far more experience than me who may want to add something. Those Infos are just my opinion and kinda how i play the game.

Thanks, that helps a lot!
So basically it makes sense to wait for special events, but I still have a question about older players. I’ve got some 32–33 year-olds that I still rotate in my formations. I read somewhere that players stop improving after a certain age. Should I switch their training off to save energy? Or will their endurance drop if they don’t train at all?
About the team building approach – yeah, my squad used to be quite old because I was obsessed with getting promoted and thought I could survive in the higher league that way. That was a mistake, so now I’m slowly rebuilding: bringing in ready players around 25–28 with strength ~6–8 for my 4th league level (and hopefully 3rd if they train up a bit), plus some younger prospects.
My rule of thumb is training youngsters around 2.8–3.2 up to strength 4 and selling them for profit. 😄
For the goalkeeper: I started raising him in the academy and let him play there until his keeping goes up as much as possible. He’s 17 now with strength 2. Is that still worth it?
About the staff – yeah, 100/100 physio sounds great. I only recently started investing more into employees. I hired a Financial Manager level 80 so I can negotiate better salaries and afford stronger staff. For example my assistant is still around level 50.
Is having employees at 100/100 a huge difference? Or is that not really a priority at my current level?
And yes, I totally agree about not wasting special cards until reaching around 110 team strength and upgrading the stadium complex. Right now it’s just about making smart transfers and training consistently.
I’m not rushing anything anymore. My club is young and my early transfer mistakes slowed me down a lot – lost quite a bit of money that way. I’m sitting at around 65M now and trying to recover, step by step.
