As the title might suggest, how to get blackboard numerals through \mathbb{}

charred pendant
#

let's cover some preliminaries:

is this for your own local latex?
or just on texit?

if texit then you're stuck with pdftex-centred methods

otherwise we have more possibilities

#

Oh no just on texit, locally for me it works fine

#

Well not locally I mainly use overleaf

okay I see

#

afaik all STIX and BOONDOX, bboldx,
dsserif, and newtx offer a full list of blackboard numerals

#

if you want to load them, have a look into mathalpha package

#

actually, we did put mathalpha package as part of default texit preamble

#

bbm works too

charred pendant
#

yes but it looks awful and pixelated

old tundra
#

noooooo

charred pendant
#

also, bbm only supports 1 and 2 and not other numerals

old tundra
#

wtf

#

that's hilarious

charred pendant
#

verdict: use mathalpha

#

and ignore jamie's recommendation

old tundra
#

yes 👍

#

the documentation for mathalpha has a full list of options you can choose from

#

but do prioritise STIX and BOONDOX, bboldx,
dsserif, and newtx if you want the glyphs from 0 to 9
