As the title might suggest, how to get blackboard numerals through \mathbb{}

is this for your own local latex?
or just on texit?

if texit then you're stuck with pdftex-centred methods

otherwise we have more possibilities

Oh no just on texit, locally for me it works fine

afaik all STIX and BOONDOX, bboldx,
dsserif, and newtx offer a full list of blackboard numerals

if you want to load them, have a look into mathalpha package

actually, we did put mathalpha package as part of default texit preamble

the documentation for mathalpha has a full list of options you can choose from

but do prioritise STIX and BOONDOX, bboldx,
dsserif, and newtx if you want the glyphs from 0 to 9
